Wrong info, m8. Last fully patched version of NAVIGON was 5.5.0, which had in-apps working as well. But the cracker does not want publicity. So no new "releases" from him since then.

    Not working for me...

Started fine, downloaded map, et all... powered off. Started again in the car and got a generic error and the app closes.
Never managed to get Navigon to work on my dual sim GPS tablet...

    Who can help?
I am trying to get this 'angola-prison' version to work on my tablet (Android 5.1, MTK6753 CPU, WLAN and also mobile phone connection).
While it installs and downloads maps just fine, any later start of the app will cause 'An error has occurred' ("Ein Fehler ist aufgetreten").
Apparently it does 'phone home' and finds a mismatch in the serial/registration data? Shouldn't the 'angola-prison' hack fix this?

Elsewhere I read that these Navigon apps have trouble with MTK chip devices and the reading of the proper serial/IMEI number. And that the app Xprivacy and a manual blocking or changing of certain functions and fields may overcome this problem.
Not for me, at least for now. I played around, but ended with 'connection error' or this basic 'an error has occurred' messages anyways.
Can I somehow modify the version.xml file to get a solution that way?

How can I get this app to work? I do like it way more than the other navi apps I am forced to rely on (TomTom etc).
    Thanks for any useful advice!

if the error was IMEI related it would state that from what I remember when trying to get the select edition running on a dual SIM phone a while ago. But this cracked version should not be looking for the IMEI because it does not have Traffic Life and in-app purchases anyway. So your prob seems to have a different cause.

Try install the Amazon patched version from here in this forum instead.

Thanks, I will look for this Amazon rev and try that instead.
Just as additional info: on my former (also MTK dual SIM) smartphone I had THE EXACT SAME error with EVERY previous Navigon version; and I tried them all!
The ONLY version that ever worked for me (a couple of years) was an older, special 'Telekom select' revision that I could use without problems.
Does Navigon 'block' Google accounts and somehow 'knows' me?
Why do all these modified versions still 'phone home' for whatever verification?
And HOW do I use Xprivacy to reject the proper calls or inject the correct data packets? Just as others with this same error have suggested and managed to overcome?
Would a 'modded Google playstore' be of any help here, as Navigon appears to use 'Google Services'?
    What a weird problem..

'Ein Fehler ist aufgetreten' ("An error has occurred"), also with the forementioned AMAZON version...
I even tried the Xprivacy trick, blocking JUST the 'Identification' call alone as suggested elsewhere, with the same result.
The last Navigon I ever got working was some 5.x 'select' revision.
    What is going on here?
Time permitting I will install a new SIM card, create a totally new Google profile on this tablet, assuming that it has to do with my account.
Am I really the ONLY one who fails to get ANY newer Navigon to work on ANY Android device I own?

If of any help I am willing to support the debugging of such a hard case as much as I possibly can; so please provide suggestions - thank you!
