    Hello there!

I have a Navigon 1210 with v7.3.7 software (Navigo Fresh updated default 7.3.1 to this).

I really have no idea how to update the files, since the downloaded files are either located in various other folders on the machine, or not existing at all. Is there a tutorial on how to set all up to make it work, or perhaps someone who could help me understand the how-to of this?

Thank you for your time and help!

I've seen that topic, but most of the files the downloaded package contains doesn't exist originally on the device. Also, CountryProfiles is in Route (settings?) folder. Shall I ignore that file or any other files that are not in Maps folder?
Shall I also delete all the other files in Map that were on the device? How is the device able to realize that the new map files are renamed to the new ones?

Also, TerrainEU as I've read it is not even supported by Nav 1210, shall I just leave that out to free up more space? (Only have 1,8Gb by default).

1.Thats why its necessary to backup first.
2.You dont put files that dont exist in your device
3.Leave the countryprofiles as it is in settings and copy the downloaded one in map folder
4.Ignore files that dont exist in map folder
5.You delete the old map and nfs files and copy the new ones
    6.Dont copy terraineu.nfs

Thank you! I'm doubtful because of my lack of knowledge on how the device actually works (which files its using for what).

So for example, now it uses sat_EU.nfs and while there is a Satellite.nfs in download, I should not copy that?

What happens if I copy those that wouldn't be used anyway? Will the device just ignore them, or their mere existence is gonna affect the whole program?
Thank you again for your help and time!
