the Mapdrawer files in the link you posted did not work. I tried them all in the Map folder replacing the original Mapdrawer. Navigon boots up ok, then when click on show map, crashes.

Those screen shots in your first post, are they from WinCE? Did you make it work?

Hi guys, this is great topic, I have similar problem like swyner, i`m running Navigon on my china 2 din radio (audiosorces for BMW e46), and i`m having freeze screen problems when display switches on something else (etc phone/bt display when the call is comming), and when switching back to navi the screen is blask frozen, voice directions and everithing else regarding to navi seems to be working. Couple of times radio unit even restarted by it self, and when it boots up, navigon has to be restarted again....

Could it bee because poor hardware specs?

Massa, I have a Dynavin N6 for Audi TT and the specs are claimed to be 1ghz processor, 388mb RAM (odd number) and iGo Primo runs great. Not sure if it's the processing/RAM specs on our units or not or if there is a "run in background" option like in iGo Primo (like first line in sys.txt that specifies this).

I have not formatted the card and is just another folder on my Navigation SD Card along with iGo. The odd thing is SOMETIMES, the volume and climate control pop ups that come up in front of the Nav screen do NOT cause it to freeze.....I cannot figure out what is causing this to randomly happen! Also, I have tried iGo Primo and Sygic, both of which work flawlessly AND are very smooth scaling...meaning driving along or turns, the map is fluid and smooth. However Navigon is very slow....moving forward the roads jump and turns don't scroll...they jump to the new direction. Navigon on iphone and android is EXTREMELY smooth...again, not sure if the software or my hardware.

Tried formatting the card, same thing, as soon I jump to another screen (radio, usb player or radio menu), on the comeback navigon screen is black, voice turn by turn still works, but on screen nothing, I` retorning on iGo Primo, untill there comes up some kind of solution to the problem. Or I start up my Android Navigon, that works like a charm, and it looks better to me than MN UI....

It seems to work. I have only tested it a couple of times and so far, it has not "frozen" the map screen when climate controls our audio level "bars" come up over the screen. That was the first thing I was checking. Second, I wanted to see if there were any better map speeds (redraw rate) but so far no change there...still slow and clunky compared to iGo. Finally, I still need to test if I can get that Mapdrawer_high.nfs to work as the street names in current maps are no joke....about 3 font (can't read so small). Will continue to report back.
