here u go
Spoiler:
First delete some Mio maps as you'll need around 1.7 free space on your device for this package. Extract than copy folder Primo on the root of your Mio flash disk and replace appstartupsec.ini file. Unplug device from USB and let the miracle happen :)
ps: I added maps 2018.Q1 as requested: Benelux, Spain, Aut, Deu, Switz., Andora, Spain, France. Dutch lang and voice included. Primo is configured to work on your Mio (gps port, baud, resolution and some other minor fine tuning)
Good luck! ;)
The GPS boots into the new software flawlessly! Thanks for all your efforts!
I'm testing a bit now but it always thinks I am in Paris for some reason and navigation just shows 'looking for GPS-signal...'. (It doesn't start) Is there something wrong?
Go outside and wait a few minutes..if you don't get gps lock in around 5 minutes than open sys.txt file inside the primo folder and delete this section:
[gps]
port="2"
baud="57600"
set_messages="0"
than save and exit and try again.
Hi, here to report back to you :)
Everything works as expected, you are a hero! The UI is much more smooth and much better, thanks a lot!
If I may ask you one more thing, if I needed to update maps next year, what do I need to look for? Which release or which forum topic?
Again, THANKS!
Perfect!
When new maps are released (check iGO section from time to time) it's just copy/paste to \Primo\Content\ folder.
