    MIO How could I update Mio Moov M413 LM?

    Hello!

    I threw away my box a long time ago and that leaves me with no lifetime updates key. I've read some threads about iGO maps and such.

    How can I update my Mio with that? My maps are from 2012 and my gps is almost useless now. It has 3.7GB storage available.

    I would also need it to be in dutch language if possible.

    Any pointers?
    Thanks!

    I can prepare you a full package so you can just copy/paste to your Mio. But first make a full backup on your PC and than send me (or post here) appstartupsec.ini file which you can find in Program Files\Miomap\

    Hi,

    I've made a full backup to my PC using WinRAR. My appstartupsec.ini file was located in Program Files\Navman. If you can, I only need West-Europe (Benelux, France, Germany, Spain are most important) maps and dutch user interface and voice.

    Any chance this could brick the Mio?

    Looking forward to your reply, thanks!

    No, you cannot brick your unit if you will use my package. I will prepare you as requested, but please give me some time, I had to prepare and upload the package for you. It's gona be around 3 gb and with my slow connection could take some time, but I will be back today, that's a promise

    @ShowMeYouGPS

    Pardon me for butting in, but you can also add a free Android GPS program to your Android phone if you have one.

    I have thought about this too, but some non-tech-savvy people sometimes use that GPS. They're still using a good old flip phone and aren't willing to learn how to use a smartphone --'

    I believe janch wants the .ini file not the .txt file.

    The forum software does not allow users to upload ini files so I just changed it to .txt

    If you need to upload something, rather than using the attachment choice, just use a third-party upload host. If you go to different threads here, you'll see some of the choices made by members when they upload. Look in the software section.
