Thanks Manojmat for this forum.
I've been looking for something like this.
I have ******* versions of MMIv6 MMIv7
I have the latest MMIv8.1 un******* with Don't Panic, 3D Maps and TTS voice.
I have a TATA version of MMIv8.1 with Mireo 3.1.
Can anyone ***** it?
I also have the latest Sygic Aura with MMIv8.1
Again I have been able to get the opening screen, but the maps are not working in that.
The latest version is actually v9. But if you have the v8.1 files for Mireo 3.1, please upload all the original cpf and lic files and PM me the link.
What about the don't panic software, can't it be *******. It does have some advanced features.
I have been able to use the maps with mireo 3.1 with the older .lix file.
But since the .lix file is older the version shown is 8.
Can the lix file be edited?
My upload speed is very slow. The .cpf and .lic files are 1.28GB,
So it would take time,
is there any other way?
I can burn a cd!
Yes it does have some better features, but I don't know how to cr-ack the Don't Panic encryption. The map version display does not depend on the lix version. Some of Mapmyindia's later versions are still shown as base version (eg 7.1 as 7.0), especially when released for OEMs as your maps are. Please specify the name of any one of the cpf files. The month and year are mentioned in the name.
I mentioned it because the the softw are did not work on the chinese systems. So I copied the older .lix of version 6 and subsequently 7 to the directory and the software worked. Only when you do the settings and check the version, it showed version 6 or 7 depending on the .lix file that I copied.
Will pm you the details
The main .cpf file is india_mi_201306_cell so I guess it's june 2013.
Do you still need the files or you have them already?
For those of you with screen size larger than 4 inches, make the following changes in the ordinale.ini file under the tab [main]
(file is found in the main directory and can be opened in any text editor like notepad etc.)
StreetFontSizeOffset=5
alternate_night_route_color=FF6000C8|FF0000
POIFontSizeOffset=7
demonstration_speed_control=1
ShowLonLat=1
allow_animation=1
If some of these lines are already existing, just overwrite them or delete them and copy the above under the tab [main]
under the tab [advisor] add the following line
extern_delay_miliseconds=500
There would be a noticeable change in the display in terms of animation and readability of the text, especially POIs
That must be the splash you're talking about. Check in menu->about->map sources and copyrights for the map version. india_mi_201306_cell seems to be the Don't Panic version map. Are you sure it's 3.1 compatible? Those maps usually don't have the cell suffix.Quote:

What about Sygic aura with MMI Maps. I like that interface too. It's clean. I am using it on the phone, but with Android.Quote:

Yes, those maps can be used with the crac-ked Android software. Sygic have now moved on to TomTom maps (just recently), earlier they were bundling MMI maps. Those are good too. I really don't use Mireo; usually use Igo, TomTom, Garmin or Sygic with phone/tab.Quote:

I was talking about Sygic aura. The one that works on WindowsCE environment and not android. I managed to run the software, but somehow am not able to load the maps as yet.
