Actually @mapalbania was right you dont need xentry das, or vediamo to update it. You can do it via CD or even MicroSD card....

...can anyone explain how to upgrade firmware to 09/29 OFFLINE(without going to the dealer with STAR/XENTRY). I am on an very old version and could you help me get to 09/29 ?

what DVD part number do you need. Newest version is v16. You can clone HDD with v14 or newer maps but it wont work with old firmware
Why would i tell you? When I asked for your help, or just to share maps with u just ghosted me.

Only way I knew to update Telematics is use StarDiagnosis interface with DAS or Vediamo. It's good you found another way. Now you want to someone share map update via SD card (I don't know this way too) but you don't share your knowledge of Telematics update via SD card. You are hypocrite.

I asked you how to do it via DAS or Vediamo u didn't want to share the procedure
You had the files for firmware and you didn't wanted to share them
You had new maps/ image file of HDD and you didn't want to share with us
-The 09/29 is the latest fw/sw update for ntg 2.5
And now you call me a hypocrite? Hah
I asked for files form MAPS DVD so i could see if it's possible to make the maps update via SD card, not by removing the HDD from the unit you blind person.
Since firmware can be done this way I assumed maybe maps could be done too. If someone wants to share the files from DVD im willing to experiment. ( no one wants to share files from MAPS DVD - not the method....) I want to try to make the method.
I have my NTG 2.5 running vith V14 maps that elixir shared year/two ago.
