    help kenwood dnx6990hd in endless loop

    I have a kenwood dnx6990hd which has worked just fine. I started my jeep the other day and it tells me maps are locked wont load. if i press ok it lets me go to the nav screen but then restarts itself over and over again. I have tried the triangle reset as well as unhooking the battery any ideas on this

    Probably the .unl or .gma file has become corrupt or even the .img map file itself is corrupt. You may need to load cure firmware to access the files, but that relies on being able to hook the unit up to a laptop. Read: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
