Default DNX9260BT nav display went black

    Hi there,
This is my first “contact” with this forum which happened accidentally, searching through Google, looking for a solution for my issue.
Firstly, in my car I have the DNX9260BT since back 2011. My problem is that, sometime ago, all of a sudden, i “lost” Garmin navigation. Meaning, when I press the nav “button” the display turns black.
In my despair, i tried to solve it with an update from Garmin site but… nothing…
Does any of you know how can be repaired? If can be…

    Thank you in advance

I think you deleted this file img_rsrc.gir .

All posts and all pages, please note, you must not do anything that was written there, just read at what happened.
Please do not use GarminCure3, no yet.
Your device must be disassembled, then make photo front and back side (high resolution if possible) from navigation module and post here:

    or upload RAR archive here:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Then I will communicate next steps.
Please do not take other steps, stupid if you do not know what are you doing.
The way to solve was discovered by me, so it is possible, but with the right steps.

ORAK thank you for your reply.
i have read about the "...mass storage..." topic and i don't think i am capable to do any of your suggestions.
if it was something simpler ok, but...
    anyway, thank you again
