Hello Orak
I put the file in the radio's memory, but nothing has changed.
When I turn on the device information that appears it "Atlantic Routable Highway Basemap v3 3.00"
Should appear the new version of the base maps.
I read on another forum that the same happened with another owner of a Kenwood DNX7200. He put a base map named Worldwide Roads BaseMap v.2.
You know this base version of maps?
Where can I download it?
Best regards

* Bmap_amr File - ???
* Bmap_atl File - ???
* Bmap_pac File - ???
Hello Orak
Once again I appreciate the help. Tonight I will install this new base maps.
Now I know what are the files:
* Bmap_amr File - American base map
* Bmap_atl File - Atlantic base map
* Bmap_pac File - Pacific base map
These three files are base maps "Routable Highway Basemap v3 3:00"
I will delete these map bases and will put the new file. I'll have to rename the Bmap_alt file. If I put up with the name Gmapbmap the GPS does not recognize it.
As soon as I have news I put here ..
Thank you
Hello Horak
It pains me to admit it, but I give up.
As much as I do, I do not find the solution.
The map is working well, but I know that the calculated routes are not the most correct.
Thanks for the help you gave me.
I do not know if you have any more "solution" .
Thanks for everything
these maps you must RENAME them as:Quote:

Bmap_amr.img --> Bmap_amr.img_old
Bmap_atl.img --> Bmap_atl.img_old
Bmap_amr.img --> Bmap_amr.img_old
so your Kenwood will NOT recognize these img files and not load them (you could delete them, but I prefer to rename, not lose them...)
Then, you put Gmabmap that ORAK gave you! Only that!
After that, you must copy CityNavigator to SD card (if you have last firmware to Kenwood it can recognize 4G card, so you can put Full Europe in SD card) Don't forget to make a folder "Garmin" to SD card and there you put Citynavigator with name gmapsupp.img
JCV files not recognized from Kenwood 7200 not other files that new CityNavigator use... (unless something new came, and 7200 can recognize JCV files....)
You must use ONLY CityNavigator NT (not NTU)
Don't put other maps in the internal memory of your Kenwood, but only basemaps!
CityNavigator you must have only at SD
What Gmapbmap?? The Worldwide Roads Basemap V2.00 or Worldwide Autoroute DEM Basemap NR V5.01??
And the file name? Let it be Gmapbmap or change to another?
Thanks
I found a map on my old computer that works.
The map name that appears on the GPS is:
CN EUROPE NT 2012.10
[1] W & C EUROPE NT 2012.10 UNLOCK BY KOR @ L
SIZE: 1.9GB
With this map the GPS works perfectly. The problem is that the map is already old.
Why will it work with this map and the other CN NT does not?
I do not know if it helps in something ..
Best regards
I read on another forum that the maps for these Gps must be unlocked with the Mapsource / old format.
I can not do any of that.
Do you know any current map with this peculiarity?
I'm sorry to be boring.
My biggest problem is that the store (representative Kenwood) closer to me, is at a distance of 90Km. I do not even care to spend some money.
The point is that the GPS internal system is all changed, and if I send for the original map, it can not operate.
Once again I apologize for everything ..
Thank you
Some help.. please..
