Well, so GarminCure3 did its job well. It makes your device enter the mass storage mode unconditionally. Now you can flash the original firmware only by putting your device into pre-boot mode.
In the GarminCure3 [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] it's written the following:

    2. Don't flash GVN-52 and GVN-53 with the CURE firmware, as they don't have a real pre-boot mode.
It looks like you didn't read this carefully and violated the first point. You don't know how to enter the pre-boot mode and flash the original firmware. So it's your fault, not mine.
I really hope lolypop000 will help us with that. I've seen here a few similar kenwood devices which have working normal pre-boot mode.

For example read [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].
This is a success story where GarminCure3 and my removing of region 0x66 did help. And the device looks quite similar to yours.
It was successful mainly because Toretto was able to enter pre-boot mode.

Most probably it's a pseudo pre-boot mode. I think it's implemented in fw_all.bin. And after you flashed GarminCure3-ed firmware it doesn't work, of course.
You need a real pre-boot mode, which is implemented in the bootloader.

How do you flash with updater.exe?
Updater.exe see your device in pre boot, so again create procedure like before when you flash cure but this time flash with original.

Try press on black screen in position where you have previous button for mass storage, if i remember correct screen will turn On if you disconect kenwood from power and after 5 min add power back.

    p.s.
I still don't know what you talking about.
First you say that you delete mass storage and then you have all folder in kenwood, then you say that you don't have garmindevice.xml but on picture is visible.
If you wish, you can [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Take the unit to Kenwood for repairs.
This GarminCure3 is only for Nuvi and other Garmin PND devices, and only if the internal flashdisk is not accessible via any other means, It was not designed for your unit.
GarminCure 3 is excellent software if used for the intention that it was written for.
Unfortunately the only way out of cure mode is by flashing in pre-boot mode.
If you cannot enter pre-boot mode your unit will be forever "stuck" in cure mode.
I think it was a grave mistake to flash "cure" in your case.

To be absolutely correct, GarminCure3 is not designed for users who can't enter the real pre-boot mode. dnx9260bt's firmware is not very different from a regular nuvi firmware, it's a regular GarminOS-based firmware, nothing magical.

To prevent such accidents, I'm going implement a pre-boot mode checker in GarminCure3, which would send a few USB commands and decide if it's communicating with fw_all.bin (pseudo pre-boot mode) or bootloader (real pre-boot mode), and then disallow/allow running updater.exe.
Well, also I will probably make GarminCure3 remove all firmware regions except boot.bin, fw_all.bin, fw_all1.bin to prevent those "unable to program the requested memory region" messages.

    Try doing the following:
    1) Turn off the device
    2) Connect the device to the PC and run updater.exe with appropriate firmware (you can use GarminCure3 with ORIGINAL option).
    3) Start pressing [SRC] and [ATT] keys. Press and release [Reset] key to start the device. Continue pressing [SRC] and [ATT] until your device is detected by updater.exe.

If this doesn't help, Alexander claims that it's possible to enter pre-boot mode by connecting two pins on the PCB. I will upload the photo of the PCB later.
