Also I bet that why I was seeing redlight cameras in Toledo Ohio without any speedcam.txt or any speed cam file in my system. They must of been in the .gap files already.

Im sorry I should of edit my previous post and included it there instead of creating another post.i tried to delete it but couldn’t.

i want to thank again to all those who have helped solve an issue i was having with usa speedcam.txt and alert points. i can confirm it is fully working,all my speedcam show up they alert me when i drive passed them and i can add custom alerts to my map by touching the screen and adding an alert. i wouldn’t of thought removing a map file would of fixed this but it did. my weather stopped working around the same time i hope it’s not because of this. i will further check into it now that this is solved.

hi does anyone have thee speedcam file in post #29? also can you post a complete list of speedcam warning both new and old? im trying to add low bridges now and i think the code is 28 for the txt file. also can you have a mixture of codes from old and new?

There is no "original" list of Speedcams, NNG uses "its" categories found in the spc files, the other categories derive from "interpretations" of the Skinners, in fact they vary over time and depending on the countries that have databases if adapt to their needs.
OSC is not the gospel of iGO Speedcam, you can take it as a reference and the TYPEs can be changed easily, do not be under any illusions, when it has a well-stocked database it will go the way of POI Plaza, it will become paid.....

You are using Garigor's Skin, you can safely use category 28 for your database of low bridges without having to change icons.

P.S. it seems that the gap files, (which don't make txt work), have a very similar structure to spc, (with which txt files work), can you try to rename the gap file to spc and see if it works?

BIRBANTE-thanks for the info i will rename .gap file when i get a chance like i said in the passed i was seeing redlight cameras and other speedcam on my map farther away from me and i didnt have any speedcam.txt anywhere on my luna program so i assume it was coming from these .gap files.

Andrey Form thanks for the link i seen that before and didnt see low briges on there and i got that code from somewhere on here and it confused me. also i think i seen some codes that were for the same thing but had a higher number now then before. so far i have town entry working (they give a general location) firestations, interstate exits. working on high accident area,schools,toll roads.tunnels and weight controls. data bases are hard to find but i have some for these already.

can you make a different sound for each alert? so exit signs have one sound and schools have another and speedcamds have its own? right now all the same sound.

Hello Andrey Form. Tell me what's going on. On the new version of speedcam.zip (version developed by pongo) I pass a medium speed camera and it continues to show that the measurement is in progress. The old speedcam.zip is fine. After passing the average speed camera, the measurement is complete. Are there other cameras in Poland, do I not understand something or do not know?

All speedcam.zip are working properly this is tested by driving test, correct speedcam.txt is required

In more detail about the Average Speed Camera
for the correct warning "Average Speed zone" there must be two cameras:
- the first (the beginning of the zone) with a measurable limit limit, for example 70 km / h
- second (end of zone) with a speed limit of 5 km / h,
on the navigator screen, both cameras are directed against the traffic ( in speedcam.txt in the direction of travel );
in those areas where the speed is controlled by both directions, there must be four cameras (two opposite ones)


a also don't use other speedcam.txt, *spc, *scdb ,
anything that has no to close

if there is no special speedcam.txt, this entry will close ASC in 3 minutes, used to be in wal24 skin:

I checked on two measuring sections in Poland. Unfortunately, passing the end camera does not end the measurement. The measurement continues after the end camera has passed. The old speedcam.zip is fine. After passing the end camera, the measurement ends.

I am using the original speedcam .spc files from Luna.

So in Poland it will not work properly? If it closes after 180 or 360 seconds, it will lock in the wrong place. Use other speedcam files?
