    Default iGO Navigation 2017

I recently installed the latest version of iGO. It's now called iGo Navigation. It seems a lot slicker and somewhat different to the prervious versions, such as Primo and MyWay. The folder structure is slightly different too.

I want to import speedcam information into this application. In Primo and MyWay it was fairly straightforward. I would obtain the appropriate file and place it into the 'speedcam' folder. Usually an .spdb and/or .txt file. In the new version that doesn't work. According to the manual the only way to have speed camera alerts in place is to input each speed camera location yourself using a 'Save' action. When you pass a speed camera of any type you can place it on the route and choose the direction and type and then Save it to that map. This seems to me to be a long-winded process and relies on my own attention span and alertness.

I have tried placing previous versions of iGo speedcam files (.spdb and .txt) into the speedcam folder (which does exist and does have a single .spud in it). When I place the .txt and .spdb files (which I have copied from MyWay) in that folder and restart Navigation it does not show any speedcams and actually deletes the .spdb file.

I'm foxed on this one. Does anyone have this new application and has anyone managed to introduce a speedcam database into it successfully?

I will keep trying and if I'm successful I will immediately share the information with you all.

Unfortunately, I have the Andriod version. I've installed it to my Pumpkin SO7 unit runnig Andriod 4.4.4.

Thanks for your link but, I've already tried this and it doesn't work. The new iGO navigation has some differences in how it handles information imported or copied into folders.

Why don't you tell us the full version number and also post it.
Do not PM me with questions. That's what a forum is for.
