Yo can not ask to delete thread just because it doesn't work for You as expected, or because You don like it.
As long as members are posting, asking questions, and getting answers, there is no reason to delete thread.
Only thing that will be deleted is every post with request like this, as yours is.
And btw. before posting on forum present yourself here [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

I do not want to argue. But may I ask you Moderator Sir : In the Igo speech section why is this TTS in any language if it's not complete? Ok, I understand there are some files that helps our devices to speak in any language. But this thread is about Igo. And Igo TTS is not working with this kind of setup.
For example I can make a thread about speed cameras in Croatia with the speedcams from Serbia, give a name "working speedcameras in any country" and argue about it.
So please, can anybody ANSWER to this question ? WHAT FILE DO YOU PUT IN IGO FOR THE TTS TO WORK ? We know now what apk are using for our device but again, IN IGO WHAT FILE? for example : french language speakers. THANK YOU !
To work you must have installed the engine "VocalizerEx TTS" and its voice Audrey
vocalizer_e.tts_1.0.2.3g.

Here you download the file:

Audrey fr_FR - francês (França) Premium High Transferir voz (521.6MB)
Must rename the extension of .nvda-addon file to .zip and decompress the voice.
SD / Vocalizer / languages / folder
The android set as the preferred speech engine, TTS VocalizerEx.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In iGO you have to have the voice folder:
SD \iGO\content\voice Voice_TTS-nua-fra-m1-lua-dri40-vssq5f22
Two voices have different sizes, try one or the other.
Voice_TTS_FR.rar
Spoiler: download
You should back up and delete the contents of the save folder.
iGO\save
P.S - I have not tested, put here the results and behave yourself like a man and writes without capital letters.
best regards
seria
Thank you. I have already tested the way you are suggesting. I tested nuance and loquendo, i changed the .ini files, tried sys.txt multiple variants, installed reinstalled igo, the TTS is still greyed out. But the phone is speaking very well "any language". Thank you again. I cannot behave like a man, beeing a woman, but I will try.
Capital letters were for repeating a question of a forum member, that hasn't been answered from july 2014. What file you put in Igo ...
Very happy to meet my lady it is possible to discriminate over which version of iGO and android system?
very pleasure

Edit : Tried again, made it from the beginning, new install everything, TTS still greyed out. I am starting to believe that this Igo version have something, because on an old HTC Desire the 2012 version of Igo is working flawlessly with ttspro, announcing speedcams, streetnames etc.
Bye bye Igo ...
Hello again,
Actually you are unlucky :omlette:
I have no way of being able to help but believe that someone appears with a solution. :skating:
Thank you for your cooperation, not say goodbye to iGO, you are a woman of taste.
:foryou:

Put the *.zip file in Content/voice, and then switch to it in Primo settings.
Though it is true that this thread is a more general tutorial for installing an Android TTS Engine, rather than specific Android Primo instructions, there is still valuable info here for a very nice general TTS engine.
For Android Primo (or NextGen), many people don't quite get the concept...the file put in Content/Voice is merely a template (modified from WinCE to Android) and only provides a guideline for the main actual TTS voice that is used by the Android System (Vocalizer, Google, etc).
The gender or name of the voice*.zip file is irrelevant..the actual voice/gender and all other aspects of vocalization is provided by the Android System TTS Engine. The iGo voice*.zip file must match the language of the installed Android TTS Engine for correct navigation usage.
If you would have read or posted in a thread for the actual version of Android Primo that you are trying to use, you may have gotten an answer sooner.
All TTS voice files that work in Android Primo should also work in Android Nextgen (and vice-versa)...but NOT in any WinCE versions.
If this voice does not show up in the settings of your installed Android Primo version, there are some other options or files that may work, but you should ask in a thread devoted to the version you are using..not a general Android utility thread.
