Thanks a lot bro.
I've paste voice zip file to the path iGO\content\voice\xxx, and I have tried to find TTS engine from the store. But I couldn't found any TTS engine that contains Indonesian voice data. I 've tried to installing Svox, TTS Loquendo, Acapela, but all aplication/apk don't have Indonesian voice data
Hopefully you or Admin can share or make Mod Application/Apk for download Indonesian voice data.
Karnadi don't confuse, with your post user ychoa.
The link you gave is for WinCE, I have already gave link for Indonesian TTS Pro for WinCE (if ychoa would like to use it for WinCE) in Post 110.
Furthermore, in post 110, I post a link (only voice .zip file) for ychoa to used it in Android.
In post 112 I gave him link if he want to buy espeak TTS Engines for Android.
Do you think that TTS Engine for wince are compatible in Android devices...
Sorry, Zervdim. Thanks for your Info.
Which version of primo is compatible to
Loquendo v7 voices?
Hi,
If I remember right, in September 2013 when iGO launch iGO (2.4) 9.6.29.329069 - GP - BasarSoft. .apk has changes so it needed to change
tts_langname for example:
tts_langname="Greek" TO tts_langname="el-GR"
This is the only difference.
But the new edition of Loquendo 7.4 is compatible with all .apk files, so it better for you to use Loquendo 7.4
Don't forget, tts-engine you find here are compatible with Android 2.2 to Android 4.1.
If you have problem with the engine (voice stop working) that it happened due:
Low memory in your device
A lot of programms are running (back) in your device.
If you use Android >4.1
So, in this case. use the voice .zip file and try to buy from the store Svox or Acapela TTS Engine.
Thanks for you post!Originally Posted by erdc
I have already modify the first page: System Requirments:Android 2.4 up to Android 4.1
Loquendo TTS Engines for Android were in the market before 2 years, then Loquendo withdrew the engines from the market.
On 30 September 2011, Nuance (one of Loquendo's main competitors) announced that it had acquired Loquendo
SVOX was acquired by Nuance Communications in 2011.
So, now you can find in the market only Svox TTS Engines. If you like you can try to buy Acapela TTS Engines.
The cost of each engine are low, with an average 3-5 Euros.
To have TTS (or TTS Pro) in iGO you need the engine and the apk (you can buy from the market).
Furthermore, you need and a voice .zip file in order to read iGO (maps, alerts, skin, etc).
To make the long story short:
Try loquendo from your device, if you have problem (sound lost) then try to buy engine from market and place the voice .zip file for your country to the path:
iGO\content\voice\place here the voice .zip file from the download
It's a good news for samsung users.
I downloaded the application on my Galaxy s3 via samsung hub. The name of application is Samsung TTS HD and it worked. Galaxy s4 already has the application installed and you have to download the voices only.
And great news is it is working with igo lua voice file. (The one that we copied under igo\content\voices)
The voice is more clear than loquendo.
I removed loquendo since i got a better TTS app.
Thanks zervdim, my bro. I would suggest to add this info to the first page and samsung galaxy users no more will look for a third party TTS apk.
