Thread: Primo 2.4 UK speedcam problem

Primo's internally uses km format and assumes that the speedcam file contans values in kmph.
Primo know nothing about either POIplaza or any different sources of cameras. it's not a big deal to convert values of text file.
The same story with US cameras is.

Someone here has offered to edit the UK file. But I would be interested in learning how to do it myself. Where do I start?

here is an example of any of text file, stored in primo\content\speedcam folder. in order to get 30mph just replace it w/value of 48km (10*1.609)

X,Y,TYPE,SPEED,DIRTYPE,DIRECTION
-157.7902200,21.3843600,1,30,0,0
-157.7807500,21.3750800,1,30,0,0

or in format of
id,X,Y,TYPE,SPEED,DIRTYPE,DIRECTION

the data from any text file of that folder will automatically included into the binary speedcam.spdb. it is ok to delete it any time to clean it up

Manually editing is a waste of time. Much easier to write a script that converts it in few seconds. I do find it odd that if the speedcam works for other version of IGO but doesn't for a particular version.
