I do not understand this ...

You have written here the current code of the above version with 20second timer, which is inside which file *.lua?

Or I have to modify it using the code you wrote here in that file *.lua?

Or do I just only have to count with clock something? As?

Explain well, and tomorrow I try... also because in a short time I leave home so only tomorrow for tests

    --------------------------

    Edit:

    tmc_fd.lua

the code you wrote is there.

I did not understand what to count ...

    You asked me ,for code!
And I copy it to you...

    Forget anything else

---Is it posible , to ask from anybody to do this that you describe?
    For what reason?

    ------

    OK tomorrow then!

    For tommorow

    My suggestion.
Open your navigation program and open your RDS
    Keyboard, type the frequency
    And return back...
    That's it...!!!
    After that
Let the program to do everything!!

    -------

If we set the time corectly!
    We do the same.
WITHOUT DO ANYTHING!(without type frequency )
    ---just we open our Program

Tried live, the itmer for the frequency switch is about 25 \ 30 seconds. But you do not have to do this!
Okay as usual, changing the frequency right after typing and returning it to cockpit without timer.
I do not think you understand my request.
    I was asking anything else!

With tmc.zip final version current (no version with timer)
Start frist time NG, when we are in the cockpit, if I go to the TMC screen, the old stored frequency, example 99.6 is OK, but it is NOT fixed, swings 99.7-> 100.1 and returns to 99.6, in continuous loop, even with a good RDS signal.
Well, if I open OSK, type 99.6 -> OK -> Return to the cockpit, I read NOW in the cockpit button read 99.6Mhz (and so it's ok you do not need timers as you did here!).
But if I open TMC screen now new freq. typed with osk 99.6 is STABLE,does not oscillate up and down in loop as before (with same condition of RDS signal).

    My request:
I want it to happen equal to the first start of NG with old frequency, without oscillation, which is immediately fixed and stable, without loop.
    My proposal was:
ONLY at every NEW first start of NG when it has finished charging (trigger code for understand this,if it exists ...) start a delay timer (30 seconds) in background, which launches the same function\code you wrote to block the frequency after having typed a new freq. by osk.
This is to have a steady frequency immediately, without loop up and down.

    Hope to have explained...

    EDIT:
you probably did this "test version" to test the timer code, to use for NG at first start, okay?

    OK, see you tomorrow

    Bye, friend

Folder # 2 plugin, test with freq. of reference memorized 99.6Mhz

Start NG, end full loading, are in cockpit, click TMC button, I see auto scan with freq. 99.6Mhz is in run and loop...
after 15s. about, i see auto lock of auto scan (works then your timer) freq. 99.6 is locked, but at the same time the second left button, where I read the freq. edited, shuts off, freq. disappears. and on the button read "> Enter freq. ec ..." practically reset the freq.
Back in cockpit, and on your button now the freq. stored is only writes "-".
Return to TMC screen, release for enter to OSK, type 99.6mhz -> OK -> automatically returns to cockpit,
but no freq in the button, written only "-".
So he did not memorize anything from OSK.
If I get back to the TMC screen, I read the freq below locked at 99.6,but at this time in my opinion NG and my device do not communicate.
I resume typing from OSK 99.6 -> OK -> return to cockpit, but identical to previous situation.
Third attempt identical as above, now instead memorized the frequency correctly, and button write 99.6Mz.
Then the folder plugin # 2 lock ok the freq. at first start with timer, this one is seen but after it does not work
all the rest ...the first lock after timer virtually does not allow to receive RDS info between my device and NG, with the freq. saved.
    This plugin is not ok.

This afternoon I test the plugin folder # 3, then write the result.

    Bye friend

In your zip I have 2 folders, one with the name "#2" and the other "#3".
Tested ONLY "tmc.zip" in folder #2, no ok, negative test as written.

Now try "tmc.zip" in folder #3 and then write results.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    EDIT

    TEST
Plugin in folder #3, test with freq. of reference memorized 99.6Mhz.

The same result after the #2 folder plugin test, negative (it only has a timing timer + along this in folder #3), even worse than the plugin in folder #2.

Plugin in folder #3 at the first start of NG-> cockpit-> go to TMC screen, i see autoscan freq. by 99.6mhz.
After finishing the timer, even worse ignores the 99.6mhz reference memory frequency, but lock the freq. that reads
at that exact end of timer, which was, by the autoscan, 101.1mhz, and saved this freq. precisely 101.1mhz.
Then I found the same identical malfunctions as plugin in folder #2 as I explained ... and always
only at the third entry in OSK stores the freq. typed.
Meanwhile, I'm almost sure no communication between device and NG.

Also this version in folder #3 after each osk-> return to cockpit-> returns to the TMC screen,
DOES NOT lock the frequency, I see green text on the Enable button, and not blue.
    This always happens.

I can say that plugin in folder #3 not working properly, is worse than plugin of folder #2.

Unfortunately test live of this two plugins have given negative results to fix the lock freq. at the first NG start.

    Bye friend

    OK
    Result:
    only plugin#1 works?

3 times I ask the same!
    only plugin#1 works correctly..

We can't continue if don't have answer!

    Its important!

Another idea without using any timers:

use the cockpit button that displays the frequency to initialize the stored frequency.
Now if you click on that button, go to the TMC screen, but it's a dual function, there is a button above NG above to open TMC screen.

I thought so, using the lock freq function. automatic that you did after digit from osk:

Each time you click on freq in the cockpit view, the stored frequency is read, in BACKGROUND performs the same function as if we enter osk and type the frequency then click ok button.
Virtually a ghost automation that manages what you do manually when you want to change frequency from OSK.
In this way, every new startup of NG, or even on other occasions when it is needed ... just click on the cockpit button, so we have the stored frequency without initial autoscan and loop.
It's important that everything happens in the background without seeing the steps ...
I hope I have explained my idea ...

    With few words,
    Yes or No!

We need to work correctly..(to "do this! that it promised")
    Nothing else!
We don't interest now, for blue or green button's

    Just only works

    Its important!
