    No, the same, off range is 78.5Mhz!

    But...you NOT change this:

    <element_template et_List_frontz8>
    <TEXT class="font_main1" text="RDS" visible=1 fontsize=33 glowsize=1 glowtype=2 color=btn_main_color >
    <TEXT class="font_main2" z=45 w=20% top=40% right=55% combined_textmodel="$lua.wTMCFixFrequency_tmcux$Mhz" fontsize=33 glowsize=1 glowtype=2 color=btn_main_color>
    ;<SPRITE class="dirTry" bmp="diricon_001.svg" >
    <BUTTON class=new_scroll" min=785 max=1080 onclick={%lua.wTMCFixFrequency_tmcux+=1} enable=(%lua.wTMCFixFrequency_tmcux<1080)>
    <BUTTON class=new_scroll1" min=785 max=1080 onclick={%lua.wTMCFixFrequency_tmcux-=1} enable=(%lua.wTMCFixFrequency_tmcux>785)>
    </element_template>

    Change 785 to 875,after,the off range is ok.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

    First live test:

    the typed button data does NOT update the actual frequency.
    Example:
    Start NG, scan is ALWAYS AUTO (green), and read the frequency saved in system.ini:
    [Lua]
    wtmcfixfrequency_tmcux = "900"

    Below in the background, we have car scanning frequencies looking up ...
    Long click on the cockpit button, stops auto scan properly, and blue writing.
    Click fast on the cockpit button, opens the menu with the two freq buttons. UP and DOWN.
    With these rule eg 100.5Mhz.
    Return to the cockpit, I read on the button correctly with blue writing 100.5Mhz.
    But if I test in TMC screen, the actual frequency remained the one blocked at the click of a long time before switching from scan AUTO to MANU, and the buttons NOT updated to 100.5Mhz!
    So, it does NOT work correctly live, the data written with the buttons does not really update the frequency with the connected TMC hardware and NG.
    Virtually only the AUTO \ MANU scan lock works and vice versa ... ugly this surprise!

    !Download again dear friend Bixo
    Now it's ok off range set 87.5Mhz

    but the problem remains the one written above...

    ----------------------------------------------------------------

    Edit:
    I add that every new start of NG always starts with AUTO scan, live with device, ALWAYS start at 87.5Mhz, regardless of which frequency had previously been overwritten with buttons in system.ini.

    For what I can understand, NG at startup reads any valid TMC frequency written in the file "fm_cache.txt" in the "save" folder, if this data\frequency is not valid for TMC infos, then starts AUTO scan from 87.5Mhz without reading the saved data with buttons in system.ini.
    That reads it ONLY to let it see on the cockpit button but without actually using it.

    Here it is.
    Only a one valide data for RDS\TMC frequency, "InfoBlu" name (Freq for Italy 102.4Mhz), but paid for it. I as ( wrote in PM) the right *.tmc file for this, but no valid licenses for NG WinCE, so it is read by NG at boot but soon after Ignored, and starts scan AUTO starting at 87.5Mhz and up.
    You can see how NG formats the data.
    I have to use TMC free frequencies for Italy, there are 3, national, but with bad FM \ RDS signal often.
    For now I have not yet captured, and therefore not visible in " fm_cache.txt ", but at most i do hardware to boost the RDS signal...no problem for me this.

    Only for @Frontzosd

    tmc.zip, file "tmc_hooks.lua".

    MODEL.SETPERSISTENT.tmc.current_station_frequency = INT_MODEL(6000)

    The old value (6000) should not be changed with (8750) ??????

    That's right dear friend..

    But the problem IS NOT the initialization prices,
    Before save file
    (SETPRSISTENT.......)

    Or

    the wide range of frequencies

    (From 87.5 too......)

    The problem is much more deeper!!!

    1)Autoscan ...BEFORE DO ANYTHING!!!!!

    I DISABLE AUTOSCAN!!!

    BUT THIS COMMAND , comes after!!!

    When you open your program..
    The button LETTERS must be blue(manual scan) AND NOT GREEN(auto scan)!

    Its something like our command for Manual insert frequencies
    Comes AFTER the Auto scan!!(this is the point)
    And not the frequencies we choose from button, because
    This operation doesn't have worth after autoscan!

    For example:
    if you work this zip file to android
    Which doesn't have frequencies...
    It starts with blue button..
    Its Because.. This command (situation for manual)
    Doesn't changed from anything!!

    ------------
    The frequency numbers (from manual buttons)
    Will have worth ,ONLY IF WE STOP AUTO SCAN!
    THIS IS THE MAIN POINT!!!!

    And of course...
    The lua code "says", the same!

    For that, do not tire unjustly
    looking at the code I've already written!!
    Because , its futile!
    ------------

    But
    be patient!
    I prepare , something different!

    It's perfectly clear what you write, and logical.
    We have to interact with the buttons while it's in scan AUTO,vice versa with MANU scan rightly the scan is locked,so it can not fix a chosen x frequency.
    I am sure that at a little time we will solve this problem, use off-line TMC function I think it is useful for many NG WinCE users and 2 din units.
    For my part no problem to test or else...
    I thank you so much for the commitment you put into this challenge,and you will be the first to solve it among all those who develop Igo NG.
    A greeting.

    let's continue then! dear friend!

    Try something Very different!!

    Watch this video first:
    [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    1)And replace the tmc zip.

    2)put inside: IGO_Xx folder/ to:
    > ui_nextgen > common/
    the keyboard. ini zip.

    Test live (very fast with car in garage, tomorrow I'll do better):
    This time you've invented a great solution!
    We now have the fixed frequency typed by the new OSK freq. , practically you were able to lock scan AUTO with this new version, and stop the frequency, exactly as I wanted.
    So it looks like the plugin is working right now, I can use the frequency I want, and this will be stored in any situation, even with NG closure from its Exit key, or abruptly with key igniton off the car, without going through Exit.
    When NG restarts, the frequency previously blocked with OSK remained that, and scan AUTO is locked correctly.
    You are a NG wizard!

    But we have another couple of small problems, but this at the NG code level and not TMC \ RDS.

    Test DO NOT put the folder "ui_nextgen" in Igo main folder:
    1) with OSK freq. I can only type the first time I start NG, if I go back to OSK freq., so that you can type new frequency, I have the OSK buttons all gray, not enabled, and I can not type anything, the buttons of OSK remain disabled.
    2) popup for "Fixed freq." Setup is too big for the size of the screen, the buttons below are covered, so I can not get out of that popup.
    I tried both the QWERTY keyboard (which I prefer) and the Italian keyboard, always the same problem ...

    Test WHIT the folder "ui_nextgen" in Igo main folder:
    1) with OSK freq. I can only type the first number at startup of NG, after I have ALL Buttons in gray OSK buttons, not enabled, and I can not type anything, OSK buttons remain disabled. Now I see the "OK" green butto, semi transparent, but not enabled. So this solution never lets me type anything with OSK.
    2) Same popup problem as described above.
    I tried both the QWERTY keyboard (which I prefer) and the Italian keyboard, always the same problem...

    I need to do more live tests on the street, but it looks like this new plugin works, both for freezing and storing the desired hi block AUTO scan, everything looks great, you did a great job!

    We have to fix the OSK issues problem above, but I think these are simple for you, the real big problems for off-line RDS \ TMCs seem to have solved them 100%.
    I will update the situation after more accurate live testing, meanwhile you can only thank and nominate number one among NG plugin developers.

    A very big greeting, friend!

    ------------------------------------------

    Edit

    WITH "ui_nextgen" folder in Igo NG main folder:

    First time in freq. OSK -> screenshot 1.jpg.
    After digging a frequency, example 102.5, it looks all disabled, as screenshot 2.jpg and OK button does not work as you see ..
    If I go out in cockpit , and return to typing a new frequency at the TMC screen button, just OSK with all disable, like 2.jpg. and every time I want to enter to type something like this I can not type anything.

    3.jpg is big popup problem...

    UPDATE
    @frontzosd

    I saw your video well ... my mistake with OSK!
    I did not understand that you have to use the OSK key right <X |
    pressed repeatedly until the writing appears to select a frequency in the range 87.5 to 108Mhz!
    This is because as you see from my screenshot 1.jpg, the text is out of range,too large,and I do not read all.
    In practice with that key you create a reset to enable and use the keyboard properly each time, okay?

    Fast live test I noticed that the frequency fixed with OSK after it stays stable, or rather, let's take an example:
    type frequency 99.6 then click on the button to save it and return to cockpit.
    Returning to the TMC screen, the saved frequency is ok, 99.6, but moves for a second approximately up to 99.9, then after another second writes 100, then returns to 99.6, then stays at 99.6 for 3 seconds fixed, then equal to above, in continuous loop but still returns ALWAYS to 99.6, in any case.
    I need to check live use on the road if this has problems...

    So, after digging a desired x frequency with OSK, return to the TMC screen, and lock the frequency (click on the new button, and lock the auto scan,blu text , and button with gray freq. number = auto scan disabled).
    So it should not oscillate the frequency chosen and stay fixed ... but I did not test in the fast test, I'll try tomorrow

    1)I fix the big keyboard in landscape mode!
    2)this keyboard have a possibility , it receives ONLY THE FREQUENCIES ,between 87.5 and 108.0
    If you try to give anything else, you don't! because the buttons disabled!
    Very useful!
    3)this mechanism works different!
    It works straight! Forget auto scan and manual!
    4)Green means you can give(type), new frequencies from your keyboard
    5)after that you MUST turn to BLUE(lock)
    6)BLUE means you lock you frequency!

    7)the last 2 photo, show ,the screen situation ( how must it be ,when we lock our frequency, AFTER we type(give it)
    From our Keyboard)
    A)Blue letters to the first table!
    B)Disabled the second table , but with frequency locked, inside!

    8)I upload again , the keyboard.ini.
