    Radio buttons!

    6 radio buttons for save frequencies(radio station )!

    1)How we save a station to a button?

    ---From cockpit we press tmc button from the side list!
    ---we SIMPLE press one, from the button(station positions), for example station 1.
    --after that an osk opens, we type frequency and we press
    'Return' or 'Ok' from our osk!
    (This is the first step, we give a value to osk)

    --next step: we press again the station_x position and just
    Press 'Return or Ok' from osk button
    That's it
    (This is the second step. We have already a value price in
    Our osk monitor and we give this in a button!)

    2)How we enable a station,
    from our radio buttons

    ---just LONG press the button you want!

    After that we return to cockpit!
    And we can see the frequency typed on the sidelist box!
    But if we return back to radio button we will
    See that the button ( frequency - station) we select, becomes green.

    Green button means, that the frequency, which writes, was given to RDS system!

    -------Also each time we give frequency to a button,
    (First step)
    This button,
    Also becomes green, because automatically we give
    This frequency to RDS system!
    (From first step automatically we pass to step 3!)

    @Frontzosd

    Tried on a simulator (live test tonight).
    It works perfectly perfectly, wonderful!
    Nice idea this solution to store the stations and after recalling them with a simple long click, I like it!

    You should, however, fix the button I now see big of the freq. in the cockpit (image1) and the text that I delimited in red that becomes blue instead of black in the osk (image2). The other time you fixed these things, the rest of the various freq texts typed with OSK and the rest that it is black again, I know it depends on my skin and you can not fix it... patience.

    Proposal:
    As you can see from (image3) on TMC screen we now have 8 total buttons smaller than text.

    I would say so:
    4 Freq stations stored are already sufficient instead of 6, so if instead of 8 buttons as we have now, we do 4 freq storage buttons. + 2 of the original NG function, after we can make 6 buttons in total bigger size and so better integrated in the TMC screen, with more legible text.

    What do you think?

    Tonight live test then write results.

    Very fast live test, plugin # 114, I had commitments and very little time tonight, tomorrow I will test better, sorry.

    Freq. storage system and recall with long clicks works 100% correctly, no inconvenience for RDS and scanning freq.
    Fixed ex big button in cockpit,black text...no problem, this is my skin!
    I can say that this function is very useful, even to make tests obviously, and ok, approved!
    Is it possible move up the text over the buttons "stationX" now it stays above the high margin of the buttons with my resolution.

    Spoiler: image
    [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    Unfortunately I still have problems with that damn freq. RDS \ TMC free 99.6Mhz!
    There is signal and RDS name (random ...) but no TMC events. I think it is a problem of the station itself, which for some reason this period does not transmit TMC. I've been up for years this freq. in car for TMC, with igo 8.3 and always events...
    I do not explain why.
    But I also have another good example:
    if tune freq. "InfoBlue" (TMC pay in Italy, freq. 102.4Mhz). I see the green TMC icon in the cockpit that lights up, remains on for about 30 seconds, then goes off, and after about 5 seconds it light on for another 30 seconds, and continue loop...
    Reason:
    as I explained, I have InfoBlue .tmc file, but no NG license enabled (.lyc suitable) so NG sees TMC stream, try and receive events, but no license, no received TMC events!
    InfoBlue obviously sends encrypted TMC data, so without an NG license it tests for 30 seconds, then abandons, and tries, but without success, this is normal!
    99.6Mhz is the free one, but no events, two weeks ago, there were events (as you saw with photos I had done) I need to find out why!

    I also have to try playing a little new flags in sys.txt section [tmc]

    Note: I saw that NG writes in the folder "save \ .... \ system.ini" the flag:
    [tmc]
    saved_last_frequency = "1024" ; or other freq.

    but if I read the flag:
    [lua]
    wtmcfixedstation_tmcux = "99.6"

    In practice, it does not match the freq. saved if I play a bit with freq. in the tests ... maybe this thing disturbs the frequency scan in the run, which oscillates and does the loop up and down every 2 seconds as I explained several times?

    Maybe the reason is that in "sys.txt" I have the active flag:
    [tmc]
    saved_config_available = "1"

    Can I delete this flag or do I need it for your routines?

    In any case I will make better live tests and with and without flag,let's see what happens.

    Next with adventure...

    Dear friend .
    As you said the problem comes from the stations.
    The free station doesn't give data the last days and the paid
    Gives encrypted!

    The plugin #114 works correct!
    (Also this plugin , is based from plugin 34,
    Which we know that it works correctly!)

    Because if you open your save folder
    /profiles/01/system.INI

    You will find in lua section theese:

    wtmcfixedstation_tmcux="94.6"
    wtmcfixedstation_tmcux1="94.6"
    wtmcfixedstation_tmcux2="88.2"
    wtmcfixedstation_tmcux3="94.3"
    wtmcfixedstation_tmcux4="99.3"

    The 1 , 2, 3, 4
    Is the position of the station that I
    Have saved in my radio buttons!

    And only this:
    wtmcfixedstation_tmcux="94.6"

    is the frequency that I give to my RDS system!

    As you understand the plugin works correctly.
    We have a saved frequency....which given from station 1(button)
    To our RDS system!

    Yes, as you wrote the problem is the station with weak signal, the plugin works properly.
    RDS for info TMC must also have a very good FM antenna signal, fundamental, and the craving to make ghost antenna in the rear glass makes it difficult to receive FM \ RDS \ TMC radio stations with different units than the original ones!

    I understood everything as you manage flags in system.ini section [lua] and saw freq entries. stored + the one that updates at each change of frequency, I've read the code of your plugin, a little I understand
    These days I want to try an SD with old Igo 8.3.5, let's see if I have the same situation with him and 99.6Mhz (though I may have a problem with him, because if I remember correctly handles Virtual COMs from #1 to #9 and my device works comfortably ONLY with COM #0 (for WinCE 6.0 drivers limitations).
    I do some tests even by playing with other entries in sys.txt...

    For the moment the plugin seems all right, retrofit with old and working release is a good idea.

    Let's go ahead and see what's happening!

    -Its not necessary, to add keyboard.ini file, inside your ui_nextgen folder, now!

    --its not necessary, to add any settings, inside your sys.text!
    For this utility!(I mean ONLY for this utility, not the rest TMC settings!)

    --For our friend @Bixo.
    If you want to test it, try to test the Last zip.(#118)

    Test plugin # 118 live

    --- ok, you no longer need "ui_nextgen" folder with inside the keyboard.ini file!
    --- in the test however I kept all my settings in sys.txt, see attachment.
    --- live test behaves EXACTLY as plugin #114, i do not see any bugs added.Freq. 99.6 as always weak and the same problems you know ... fee-paying TMC InfoBlue 102.4Mhz still behaves exactly as already explained with plugin #114.
    So I say we can use plugin #118 without any problems of conflict with RDS data flow.
    I also attach my "system.ini" and "fm_cache.txt" from the "save" folder.

    1) in "fm_cache.txt" as read NG has memorized last week, when I received TMC events, the freq. TMC entry for 99.6mhz, and also read InfoBlue 102.4Mhz TMC entry.

    2) with plugin #118 in my "system.ini" you see that:
    [lua]
    wtmcfixedstation_tmcux = "99.6"
    and...
    [tmc]
    saved_last_frequency = "1024"

    are freq. saved different, although from "sys.txt" I deleted that string.
    Do you automatically write "saved_last_frequency " entry with plugin #118?
    Why are not the same frequencies in [lua] and [tmc] in the strings written above?
    Sounds like freq. in a different ... this sounds strange to me.

    Notes:
    I tried to put Igo 8.3.5 in the car, but as I remember, it does NOT work the TMC device on virtual port COM#0, only COM#1 up to COM#9, so I can not test the freq. 99.6Mhz with this old Igo

    Bye Friend
    -------------------------------------
    EDIT:

    "system.ini" problem solved

    NG write and save automatically by yourself this entry:
    saved_last_frequency = "1024"

    Reason: he saves the last freq. where it detected a valid TMC signal (even without receiving events) and kept it intact, although with the plugin we saved 99.6 with buttons of TMC screen.
    For example, if the valid TMC signal is 99.6 overwrites the previous freq. and would save after 99.6!

    @Frontzosd

    For the future,change with these values in "tmc_landscape.css":

    TEXT.radio_station {
    top:0;
    right:0;
    left:0;
    bottom:40;
    color:#c5c5c5;
    align:"CENTER";
    fontsize:20;
    glowsize:1;
    glowtype:2;

    }

    So I have the text visible on the preset buttons, centered and written internally on the buttons, otherwise it is out of range in landscape mode.

    Thank you.
