In what other navigation software in Android
you can download. KML ?
Is it possible to download. KML to Garmin navigator?
If you want to follow a specific route and not one that your system wants you to go, say for example you wanted to visit a location off route whose address is not on the gps you can visit a routing website and save the route you made as a .kml
Transfer the file into a folder called "route", you may have to create this folder.
It would be places at /content / userdata / route
You have to be aware that you can not start the route if your say 50 miles away. You would need to be at the start of the route for it to work.

Hi. Just found your post and I would like to ask you something. I use this feature every year, but i have the following problem: I use Google Maps, go along the route and configure it precisely. Then I load it as you described. The average route is, let's say, of about 1000 km. It's in routes folder, I load it, and then I see the damn program recalculates some of the parts as it sees more fit, even though I know that my preconfigured route is faster. For instance, instead of routing around a city, it tries to take me through the city. Not that the map doesn't have the road to go around, but it wants to reroute my preconfigured route and take me through the city. So far, the only way to stop it from recalculating was to implement strict waypoints at the point where I want it to keep the preconfigured route, but it's quite a job to do so on a 1000 km route. Is there a way to make IGO not recalculate at all and just follow the preloaded route without "having a mind of it's own"?
PS: the mode is set to "Fast", not "short" or anything else
