What do you mean by "more than 1 map" ?
More than 1 country map? Then the map of the country you are in is loaded.
Maps from more than 1 mapmaker? Never tried it but that is not recommended. Can't guarantee the program won't crash.
If you mean "maps from more than 1 mapmaker" do a search for "mapchanger", then that is what you need

More importantly the question should be "How do I know if the maps are correct and being used?" The answer is, check under content for map; look under About.

Hi all. New here. Had a search, but with little luck.
    Android head unit 4.4.4 800x480
Basarsoft SD card supplied with unit 2015 maps, but lots of useless files for the world, so I've deleted the country's files that are not Australia based. Igo was saying "igo primo version 9.6.29.390522"

Read the file instructions from the maps torrent (70 odd gb) and replaced files in exactly the same spots they were before. (yes 2 backups, and I've even kept the working sd card seperatly). First problem I suspect is have I got the wrong content file for my version? The torrent doesn't mention anything about a version 9.6.29, even though the file types match.
Problem is the first title page appears, loads a bit then closes and android says "The program has closed"

I've left the license files in there but added any new ones that I suspected the new maps may need, I read here some igo's don't need any licence files at all?
I've only placed (replaced) the Australian maps, pois, dem, ect and tried to stick with everything tomtom where possible.

I also replaced the folder under global configuration, I'm wondering (as the instructions didn't say what it does) if this was a mistake.

I also wonder if igo is trying to load files that were there before, that now don't exist (as they have new names). I read somewhere here that you can delete a file, to reset igo back to factory default, without deleting the config.ini file (that tells igo stuff like screen resolution ect).

    Would love your help please.

I'm struggling to understand why you cant use both .FSP and .HSP files. As I understand it, you have to use one or the other. But a quick google comes up with this.

    \ Content \ histspeed
    * .HSP Files that CONTAIN historical information about traffic on certain routes in certain period

    \ Content \ map
    * .FSP File that contains information about legal maximum speed of travel.

    Please explain like i'm 5!!

They both give smart routes, calculated on historical (or not) traffic data in relation to time and day of the week. Therefor the route calculation may differ depending on the time of day (to avoid daily traffic jams). .fsp files come trough the map provider 4 times a year, .hsp new files come every month. So.hsp is more recent and holds traffic information that may differ from .fsp (e.g. recent road works). Those data may give different results that are in contradiction. And that 's why.

Thanks G-ulash. I get it now. But it also raises another question. I had a quick look through the forum, and I cant see any .hsp files for download. I would have expected to see a lot of results via a forum search if they were released monthly, but it came back as nothing?
