if you don't use TTS function, you can delete entire tts_nua_v5 folder and all .dll files (leave only tmc related dll's and Lucca.API.dll). But I think it's better that you focus on content files for countries which you don't really need. You can also delete all voices and language files and leave only those that you are using.
I do use TTS have removed all files for the countries not visiting this year. I see device.nng is in the root and also in Primo, has this to be on twice? Backup is empty.
device.nng is automatically generated after each start/exit Primo, so there is no point of deleting it..Also, all other files (not including content files) are so small, that even if you potentially delete them, you won't gain much space. I suggest you rather invest in bigger SD card (8GB or 16 for eg.) Those are really cheap these days and you won't bother with that problem any more.
I didn't find it I'm looking for the alerts that I saved while driving like speed cam and dangerous zones where I can find it to copy to another version of igo ?? User POI I know where it is Save/profiles/01/User.UPOI
It says in the thread that this .fda in content/map but I don't have .fda for EGYPT and i think no one here has it either, but it is saved somewhere in the program...I save road bumps as dangerous zones so as to alert me 500 meter before the bump, and believe me we have tremendous number of these bumps in Egypt.
Your saves are NOT saved in .fda files, in these files is (or is not) only info from map provider.
All info You saved with program (all of it) is in \iGO\save folder, and is in different format
Which file in save folder exactly there are many files ?
Sorry, but I don't know. I didn't search for this kind of info, it was pointless for me.
You could backup complete save folder to PC, and then delete file one by one, later copy back all files.
When You loose saved data, You'll know it's in file just deleted, than copy this file to other device.
Or just copy files one by one to another device, and see which will bring up saved warnings.
At last You can copy complete folder to another device, and I'm sure that warnings and all other settings will be transferred.
Thanks for your replay, I tried before to compare 2 save folders of 2 different versions of igo the first one with user saved alert points (I saved it ) the second one with no saved alert points (only default alert points that came with the map version) I didn't see any difference in files sizes taking one by one to compare.Anyway I will try your method maybe it works otherwise what I'm looking for isn't related to the save folder.
For custom alert points try the file SpeedcamUpdates.spud in the folder Content > Speedcam.
I think that's where any you add yourself are stored.
EDIT: Even though it's .spud extension it should be just a plain text document format that can be opened with Notepad etc..
