Pay attention - globalcfg shows some general limitations. However, on the roads, the limits - data are built into the maps
The only thing is that you create a separate gcfg for yourself, and that you set an individual limitation in the software
-
Yes, but in global_cfg are general limitations for roads that do not have specified limitation (sign) depending on road type, and also depending on vehicle type.
For example Austria:
Code:
in_city="50"
out_of_city="100"
expressway="100"
motorway="130"
speedlimits_1="Coach|0x8|0x3ff|50|100|100|100"
speedlimits_2="Trucks|0x2|0x207|50|70|70|80|3500|"
speedlimits_3="Trailers|0x2|0x100|50|70|70|80||"
speedlimits_4="Road Trains|0x2|0xf8|50|60|60|80||"
Last four values in 'speedlimits_x' are corresponding to groups in first four fields (for specified vehicles) and overriding those values.
I only don't understand value '3500' for 'Trucks'.
P.S.
'3500' could be total weight (in kilograms) of vehicle from which it belongs in this category.

@Midnight Blues
Thanks. I think you are correct in assuming 'speedlimits_x' group should probably be 'x = last + 1').
From looking at the country_info.ini file it seems the speedlimits_x groups are purely sequential for each country, with speedlimits_1 normally being Coach and any others assigned sequentially but to no fixed vehicle type.
It is the next 2 blocks which are the problem. They seem to be hexadecimal numbers but converting then to actual numbers doesn't reveal any obvious logic.

For trucks and their limitations, you need to use ftr files
Maybe for Turkey you should use their basemap and Basarsoft's regular map, and maybe adapted globalcfg
P.S. Regular iGO don't have motorcycle profile.
I know there were some dedicated skins for WinCE, I don't know if there is for Android
-
Inside iGO_ISRAEL_9.18.27.687519.apk, only in file 'libigo_jni.so', beside 'motorcycle_helmet' (related to content of 'global_cfg') are also two other variables with 'motorcycle' in name: 'motorcycle_speed' and 'motorcycle_multiplactor'.
But there is no motorcycle in vehicle selection.
-
Straying a bit off topic, I have tested all the motorcycle versions of Primo for WinCE that I have found, but none offer a motorcycle profile in the vehicle selection. I guess I didn't really think through how to use the speed limit information even if it could be added to global_cfg.
I have a ux "ExtraVehicles" which is supposed to add a motorcycle profile, but it looks like an unfinished project and doesn't work

But, read this post :

I think further discussion definitely goes beyond the scope of this topic
