The only conversion of png images to svg is not difficult even with Illustrator, it is what I'm doing in the last three years. I also tried with Inkscape and Vector Magic, but the quality is much lower, (online I have not tried), I hope I'm wrong, but I think it is difficult to get that quality with a simple little program.

    just for speedcams icons...please
Compiling the svg files with the 32 Speedcam images, one on top of the other, and their rescue, remains a prerogative of Illustrator...... Just to make you notice that the CC 2015 version did not save the files correctly, and I had to go to CS6..... I do not know if with the latest versions they have remedied, but the team that wins you do not have to change.......

When I do "Save as..." and select "Windows or OS/2 Bitmap (*.bmp)", then a popup of "Export new Bitmap" and I have to select "Windows" again. Why not defaulted to what I'd chosen the first time?
Do not PM me with questions. That's what a forum is for.

In the past I tested this program only in the conversion, without testing the results because I had not done a new speedcam.zip. Now I renovated the icons of my speedcams, but when I tested them I had the surprise ......

    Spoiler: screenshot
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ][Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

The black background also appears together with the icon.
I tried to make the background transparent to the files speedwarn0 and speedwarn1, but when I try to convert them to NNG Bitmap the program crashes.

However if the black background appears, it means that in the conversion the black is "lightened", otherwise if it remained black RGB 0,0,0, it would be made transparent by the software, and that's what happens with iPAQ.
But if it reduces the black of the background, it means that it gradually softens the others that are in the icons too.

It's me that I'm doing something wrong, or as we are very few to change the speedcam.zip still no one has tested this program properly?

P.S. The images of warning are slightly deformed because in ico_speedcams I have sized the icons 75x65 instead of 65x65..... seeing them a little bigger certainly does not hurt......

I state that all the operations I do with Photoshop.
I'll upload the files you requested and as specific as I did them:

The"A" image is made with an 8-bit black background with the PNG icons inserted and then saved in PNG, it became 32-bit.
The "NNG from A" image is the converted "A" image with your program.
Probably if instead of saving "A" in PNG, save it in 24 bit BMP, everything will be OK, but I will try this in the next days.

The "B" image is the one that crashes your program, is made with an 16-bit black background, later I made transparent black with magic rubber, I inserted the PNG icons and then saved in PNG too, but this image became 64-bit, surely this is the reason that makes your program crash.

The "C" image is made with an 8-bit black background, later I made transparent black with magic rubber, I inserted the PNG icons and then saved in PNG. This image became 32-bit.

The "NNG from C" image is the converted "C" image with your program, I tried this image and it's OK.

As I said before I will do other tests in the next days ......

With this image, the program works without any problems.
It can even be made even bigger size.

    railroad/bako1970, you're always the usual phenomenon .......

Okay, I made it all up, I've done it just to receive the Likes.
But maybe I'll have to use me too "This post requires you to click the "LIKE this post" button and hit F5 to read this content", and "This post requires you to click the "LIKE this post" button to see Attachments"...........

This is what happens when I try to convert that image:

    Spoiler: image
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ][Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

and this happens with File / Save as / NNG Bitmap, and with Edit/Batch Conversion/Output Format/NNG Bitmap.

Despite the crash an NNG file B- 64 bit.bmp has been formed, but it is of zero bytes, and if I try to open it with DView an error comes out:

    Spoiler: image
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Precise that I have Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit.
Mine is not a criticism, I like this program, it's very fast and the files are smaller than those of iPAQ, and if you can improve it is even better.

P.S.Everyone is free to do as he wishes, but I do not give the "Like" to the comments, but only when the problem is solved with the answer or when the material to be downloaded is offered.....in all other cases they are "extorted", and I do not "Like" this.......
