Here are some update on what I have tried so far, as per novello's suggestions I tried taking off some of the licenses one by one and that did not work.

Then I tried deleting the ''save'' file in igo software, that reset all of the software to the original version but did not clear my problem.

Did a full format (long version) of the Micro SD card and re-installed the original Igo Software, that didn't fix the issue.

Below I took some pictures of the exit menu of the Navi screen, in hope of triggering a ''Einstein'' idea......from one of you geniuses

If I'm not mistaken, you're using the skin "night" ..... right ???
Try using a "day" skin or changing skin.

    7 pages and nothing smart
Before forum loss, was discussion about device like yours, no problems at all.
First, i suggest you to try with clean software.
Try with package from [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Read just for education, valid link is in [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
That is clean and verified software. Add only basemap, map of your country, latest global_cfg, english language and voice, try and tell us the result.

If you still have problems there is one more package adapted to such device. Primo ESX 9.6.5.278914.

After having worked with iGo apps on 2DIN units pretty intensely for a few years now, I don't think this issue has anything to do with Primo itself - which is why a fresh Primo installation was never recommended. Also, the version that is on the unit is the version that the manufacturer included with the unit - nothing has been modified - it's not like the OP tried modifying a bunch of Primo-related "stuff" and "broke" something.

I think that you could put a WinCE file explorer on the GPS SD card (with the same name as the Primo executable) and have the exact same problems with the WinCE file explorer (cannot get back to 2DIN interface) - in fact, that would be a great test! I have a feeling that this is an issue with the 2DIN unit itself - either a "procedural" issue, an issue with the 2DIN configuration or possibly even a hardware issue with the 2DIN itself.

Primo itself works fine, which is why we haven't been concentrating on Primo-related modifications. The only issue is that the OP cannot successfully switch between the Navi and radio functions, which is typically not a function of Primo, but a function of the 2DIN unit. He should *not* need to exit Primo in order to get back to the main 2DIN interface and then have to restart Primo to get back to the navigation interface - can you imagine having to constantly exit and restart Primo every time you wanted to switch to/from the 2DIN interface?? That makes no sense.

This is why I asked if it was "original" proggy. It's chinese "package", so I don't think Primo was originally for that unit. The interface is nice but if it can't function correctly, all the nice look won't matter. If proggy was made for that unit, there has to be evidence of it in the code, simple as that.

That's a good point. When I saw this in the OP:

"Now everything works great except for the GPS, when i power the GPS it logs in ok from a micro sd card (IGO pimo 9.6.13.405512) supplied by the seller with all the maps everything is all good, when i try to exit then the unit gets stuck on the exit screen ( igo screen with the message on the bottom right ''Exit, please wait'') and never exits."

I took that to mean that the unit came with Primo 2.4 on it when he got it - but maybe he actually meant that the vendor supplied it afterwards to *replace* what was on the unit originally... @newbeegps - can you please clarify? If Primo is NOT what was on the unit from the manufacturer, then as @orisis4isis said, it may be that this particular 2DIN cannot successfully run Primo 2.4 (and work fully)...

While most 2DIN units can run a "generic" version of Primo (no customizations for that specific 2DIN), there *are* a few 2DIN's that require a *customized* version of Primo to operate 100% correctly (not just sys.txt type customizations, but actual binary customizations). For example, the Rosen GM1010 2DIN unit works 100% with any WinCE GPS app - and any version of iGO8 or Primo - but the Rosen GM1210 2DIN unit comes with a customized version of Primo 2.0 that allows a few things to work that do NOT work with other versions of Primo (such as 1-use a speaker that is embedded inside the unit for the screen touch "beeps" - even in Primo, 2- causes the 2DIN clock to be set correctly from Primo GPS time (and there is no way to manually set the 2DIN clock), and 3-stops Primo from showing after starting up). If I put Primo 2.4 on the GM1210, none of those 3 things work correctly - regardless of the sys.txt options I tried to fix them.

So @newbeegps - can you please confirm what GPS app came on the unit from the factory?

Very seldom do you get "original" when from chinese, most are clone hardware with "stolen" proggy on it. They will try to make it "fit" and "work", but not always successful (cost of cheap pricing.) From looking at the codes so far, it looks like it's a Primo version with lots of codes copied from other products. There are lots of "profiles" for devices (even android ones) If you buy say Pioneer directly* from them, the proggy (Avic) are made/tested for that unit (people posted it and everyone assumed it's for any devices) so there are functions that won't work when not used on the Pioneer unit (lots of "useless" codes)

    * They have license and support from NNG to use their proggy

@ jtrosky: yes, I agree with you, you are generally right. But. This thread have many stories, many doctrines without results. Reduce.
    Device problem is third option.
I also deal with 2din devices for a while, and I know why I said to him try with clean package.
    - it needs to do to exclude the potential software problem. SD cards are cheap, take a new SD card and try
Second thing: for mostly of WinCE device, I have problems with ESX package, but that package works excellent for VW based clones.
    - That's why I recommended him to try ESX if the first solution does not pass
Third thing, if previous two solutions not works: device software. It require a particular type of software or a very specific setting. Launcher is the main culprit.
Let him try, and let we wait for his response.

Run the proggy posted at [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
and get the value of keypress for each of those buttons.
