    It's possible that they look too big for you. Most likely, because the screen has a low resolution that they look even bigger.
    If the diagonal is larger than ~6", certainly this is the case.
    I'll check if it can in some way affect the street name. If I find, I'll post it later.

    Btw, did you tried package from

    P.S.
    Official explanation for mapfontscale is
    mapfontscale = 150; (100/100%) Enlarge /Reduce font size names (streets, villages etc)
    And it is recommend to put under

    resolution_dir = "800_480"

    @userninenine

    Install gps plus and test...my note 8 sees 29 satellites with some 24 in use while HUAWEI tab sees 33 with 27 in use. This was from my apartment....I sat on the balcony and did this.

    Today I was in parking garage... Huawei tab still.sees gps... amazing piece.of hardware for 105€ on discount. Normally they are about 200€ but I found those without original packaging but with warranty.

    iGO Primo works perfectly. I copied iGO Primo folder with the SAVE folder from.my Note 8 and it works without any hiccups and any extra intervention from my side.

    It has:
    GPS
    Glonass
    Beidou

    while N8 has
    GPS
    Glonass

    UPDATE:
    Huawei tablet works now perfectly fine as well as both iGO PRIMO adn NG. No more dimmed out screens or turning off issue. ADB Tools solved this. I drove for a couple of days and issue is gone.

    Hi Texas!

    I have the same issue with dimmed out screens or turning off on iGO Primo high resolutions.
    I will try this with ADB Apps commands...
    Are this working for any other devices?

    Can you do a pack compilation of a working version?
    Thats would be great

    Regards

    Unfortunately you do not write which "HUAWEI MEDIAPAD 8" "you are using, there are several (T3, M5 ...)
    I am using a "HUAWEI MEDIAPAD T3 10" with EMUI 5.1.3 (Android 7.0) The problem you are describing does not occur to me. The file "powergenius" is also present and active in my system.
    I am using Primo 9.6.29.596752 and / or iGO World 9.18.27.736653.
    Both are installed on the SD card and use a common "content" folder. Both work almost perfectly.
    For me in my "Hymer" the optimal navigation device.
