I just did two tests of this version, first with the original skin and then with that of Frontzosd and I highlighted in both the one that does not work ..... For now only a summary test and not in-depth....... It can not be done?

This is much more important to me than the format of an icon

I do not use and I have never used POI Kml files, the POIs I find in the maps are enough for me, you have to give a report on this version on things that do not work and that interest you...... We have to give everyone a little contribution and not just criticize .....

Dear friend.
this is not Exactly , the problem you describe!

The REAL PROBLEM for SPEEDCAM ICON
is the fact that the new application , DOESNT RECOGNISE
the command "phase"
(But only in this piece of code and not in other pieces)

It recognizes it in the ico_speedcams file that is on the data but not in the files that manage the menus.

OK, I tried to insert the 6 folders of the various resolutions in the original speedcam file, next to the nodpi folder ..... they work on the route but also on the map, which did not happen in Israel:

I am testing with an S9 + android oreo with the Frontzosd 1.3 skin and it works perfectly. The only problem is that I do not recognize the favorite locations saved in igo gift (user.upoi).

that is not correct - can add place, star is displayed as POI and also saved.

IMO the problem is SYS.txt:

save_checksum = 0; 1 writes several files and leads to errors
! user.upoi save in profiles/01/users/ 00/

check/edit SYS.txt
delete Save-Folder
System->AppManage->iGO Motrex-> delete Cache+Memory
more active permissions again

re-create configuration of Motrex app ;)

yes! user.upoi from NextGen is not recognized :( test onder Nougat/7.0

Modified original data.zip for speedcams to work in France and Switzerland
Also remove all lines in sections [speedcam.disabled_countries] and [speedcam.limited_countries] (or just delete complete sections) in sys.txt (if exists).

Download both parts of RAR file and extract.

App starts really very fast and I like the behaviour about driven road. Means you see where you have already driven. The schema changes the road. Really nice.

Here the same problem with user.upoi
Yes I can add new one and they will be saved, but an old file from e.g. iGO PAL will be overwritten after starting the app. Settings in sys.txt are correct.

Speedcam.zip works here for me. Speedcams are shown and warning is working.

But I have problems with my TTS. Special chars like 'ß' are not spoken. Only 'Strae' instead of 'Straße' is spoken. Non-TTS voice is working fine, of course ;)

I have done everything you say, it allows me to save locations but I do not recognize the user.upoi that I had in igo gift. It erases everything and remains blank.

Here it is..just edit SD CARD location. My maps are on SD card and my SD card has different name so pay attention to it.

I am saying again...there is no need for this version. People who are not so familiar with iGO modifications etc should not be dealing with this version. Again this is just for research. You have full version iGO_Israel and iGO_World. Both are amazing, ISRAEL is full with full truck support and WORLD is not but works very good. For years I have been using iGO_Israel and no issues so far, no crashes no errors.

- For anybody else it is still early to judge this version but at the moment there is no need for it. It offers nothing new, it even lacks some options (some basic too).
