Well I feel stupid. After hours of trying to figure this out, I added these lines to my system.txt and the satellite problem is gone (I figured that if I had it all internal, why would it need a secondary root?). I haven't messed with the voices anymore, but the system now "sees" twice as many satellites, and locks on to at least 5 nearly instantly, jumping up to 9+ after a few minutes.

Once again, thanks to everyone for your help!

UPDATE!!

I spoke too soon....after work, same thing: looking for GPS signal. I don't get it. This morning I was seeing 22 satellites, and connected to 12-13. Coming home, seeing only 12-13, connected to 0. I guess it's back the the drawing board...

First of all thanks for your hard work installation is working except 2 thing that I like to acomplish.
Is there any way I can make or modify the street sign with background or making street sign brighter to see.
Anyway I can get TT English working on this iGO, I read through this forum and it seem bighairyg is having the same TT as I having. Regular voice work fine just not TT voice for English.
Here are two photos
1st one is old street sign.
2nd photo is new street sign (this is what I am trying to get)

Hi bighairyg;

Tutorial is clear with internal installation and with external installation. I am willing to help you, but you have to send me in private message the old sys.txt file from version that worked on your unit. If you did not had another version on it, you can send me the exact information about unit.

I do not realy understand what you mean. Do you mean the street names? Below , or all street names? I will look at English TTS. I made the TTS version for the Netherlands completed. So I try to find a solution for the English TTS.

I have the solution for English TTS Voices:
Download attached file. Unpack and place the files in same folders in iGO Gift folder. Overwrite the files that are in your iGO Gift folder.

I did as you mention put into the iGO_Gift folder and over write it but seem like nothing happen.
I went into Setting>Reginal>Voice language>select voice. I don't see Serina and daniel but see the default of other voice language.
Did I miss a step here.

Another Question, when using gps direction my car seem to be ahead of the street about 1/4 is there a sys.txt to sync this, If not I understand.

Q. Can this version be able to see freeway exit sign when leaving the freeway or it has to be done in sys.txt, can't seem to find the setting anywhere.
