Thank you marx for your helpful and mysterious answer.
I will take a detailed look at Nextgen Israel and Gift versions.
Please, don't take me wrong, I may be a Junior Member (Junior?, Toddler!) in the forum.
But I have read a lot in this forum, I see that probably in the wrong places.
Even that I have learnt a lot.
Sometimes it's easier when more advanced users give us these tips or point us in the right direction, when they think we are lost.
Of course, answering always the same questions, or to those users that just want to come and find the magic solution might be frustrating.
But I don't think I'm this kind of user.
I'm interested in learning and I'm willing to test and share.
Cheers
Hi Knauss
mMmmmm >>> try with this line in your sys.txt (because no menu entry for...)Quote:
In AVIC the map is mostly static and the arrow follows the route. I went through the menus and did not find any setting to modify this behaviour, do I have to adjust anything in sys.txt ?
first set value to =0
then set value to =1
[camera.roundabout]
enabled=0 ; the other option is 1
I think you will see some difference in travel display ;)
PS: this command is also usabled under iGO-Primo and all Nextgen versions ( Gift, Navigation, Basar...)
Thank you for your suggestion.
I tried both options but none of them did any effect on route simulation.
Before deciding that this is not a solution I will try in a real route.
I remember I had to use this setting once with iGO Primo because some version did not show well... roundabouts!
I used it together with centery.
But I erased that sys.txt because it got fixed in a later Primo version.
EDIT: I remembered that sometimes sys.txt changes have no effect if you don't clean save folder.
So I erased save folder content.
And...
You did it!
did its magic!Code:[camera.roundabout]
enabled=1
;)
You convinced me that you're not a lazy person...Quote:

... So I will direct you to an extremely useful link for you: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Thanks again @seria for that job!Spoiler: small joke
Very good at making jokes.
:)
I'm not so sure if one saves more energy making clicks with a mouse or trying to exercise memory.
I guess it depends...
Thank you for pointing me in this direction.
Much clearer now.
It is curious, I already browsed this thread. But at the time I was looking for a different information.
And did not find it useful then.
Very different now my point of view.
;)
Pleas, works iGO_AVIC to someone - TMC in profile "TMC- IGOWORLD" ?
No. Read:

I have an older version of this software (2016).
With this version, should I insert in SYS the following text to enable speedcam for swiss and france ?
[speedcam.disabled_countries]
;_FRA=1,2,3,4,5,11,7
;_SUI=1,2,3,4,5,11,7
I tested this settings with the current version and I don't see any speedcam for france and swiss. I used this [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] to find radar. I use SCDB database for europe in speedcam directory.
Someone can give more information about this problem ?
Many thanks.
Hello!
Here you can find it: data.zip\project_config\igo_nextgen.ini
[speedcam.disabled_countries]
_FRA=1,2,3,4,5,11,7
_SUI=1,2,3,4,5,11,7
Here it has to be rewritten:
[speedcam.disabled_countries]
;_FRA=1,2,3,4,5,11,7
;_SUI=1,2,3,4,5,11,7
