Yes, the_skin.zip is much better now (it was a bitch to fix some of the problems) and should work with data.zip with no problem (although, I did not test with everything in ux, just what I released), the goal is to get a skin with transparency so it feel light, clean and efficient.
ok i will replace the skin zip from the pack from catymag with yours and test it. i dont like original gp the skin,i dont have light day mode menu etc...
one favor. please don't use blue purple colors for next street or anywhere in daylight are not visible enough. I think I saw blue color on the top bar, right? just use black and white fonts! thank you!Quote:

I think you're thinking reversed. The hacks are done mostly in data.zip with fixes for the_skin.zip It doesn't make any sense when not using data.zip
with folders from post 109 always say the nextstreet name.i have this order in my sys nextstreet_mode=1 for visual only, but nothing
You must of pressed next street name (top bar) and toggled it off; read "5. Press next address (top bar) to change crossroad (disabled/voice-on/voice-off)"
