Alessandro G,
it might be some thing in your sys.txt
see in [folders] ... make sure that:
has_secondary_root=0
it should be like this:
[folders]
data_folder_name="iGO_Avic"
linked_root_list="/extdata /sdcard2 /sdcard /sdcard/sd /sdcard/external_sd /mnt/sdcard /mnt/sd /mnt /storage /mnt/sdcard/sd /mnt/sdcard/external_sd /mnt/extsdcard /mnt/sdcard/extStorages/SdCard /ext_card /mnt/ext_card /mnt/extSdCard /mnt/ext_sd /mnt/sdcard/extStorages/SdCard /ext_card /mnt/ext_card /mnt/extSdCard /mnt/ext_sd /storage/extSdCard /mnt/storage/external_sd"
has_secondary_root=0
good luck

i tried to modify the sys file but unsuccesful. Please can you tell me step by step how to install after doenloaded folders and apk on first page? if i try installing other version of igo nextgen they start without problems. What i want to solve is connecting the phone to may car gps. I saw a post in this thread where someone received a message saying the igo was to be connected to an external unit. In the other cra..ed versions it's not like that and cannot be connected via bluetooth. how istall this version?? thanks
This will work on Samsung Galaxy S6
You need to create folder structure as follows:-
SDcard \ Android \ data \ jjp.pioneer.mbg.avicsync_624772 - because that should get generated by the installation. If it doesn't then just create it yourself.
Then inside that you will have all your iGO files. So extend folder structure to then include \files\iGO
There you will put your content, ux, license folders along with data.zip file and sys.txt files if you choose to use one.
I promise this will work but be warned. It's been a long time in getting it to look good afterwards with resolution issues. Our phone is a 2560 x 1440 resolution with dpi of 577.
Hope all goes well.

thank you very much, but it didn't work! i uninstalled previous version, installed new apk, created folder and sub folders as you said, but always the same error. i tried to modify sys file, as suggested by nawaf, but no success. i don't understand why, while installing apk, seems everything fine, but no folders are created.
Ok
Go to setting in phone and applications. Clear cache - delete data - uninstall iGO
Then reboot phone
Then put all files in sdcard/temp ( create the temp filder first )
In that folder put a folder iGO then within that put in the previously mentioned files ( content, ux, etc ) including the .apx file. Use the .apx file in post 6 in this thread. Other .apx files from other nextgen versions will not work with this folder.
Install .apx file
Don't run iGO - reboot phone. You should then be able to see folder \jp.pioneer.mbg.avicsync_624772 in scdard\android\data
IF FOR ANY REASON IT DOESNT - just create it yourself. Use ES file explorer and find sdcard\android\data - this part will already exist whatever
If you cannot see it then just create the folder (jp.pioneer.mbg.avicsync_624772), then within that create a folder (files) and then within that create folder called (iGO)
Folder structure will then look like this - SDcard\Android\data\jp.pioneer.mbg.avicsync_624772\files\iGO
So now put all the folders inside this folder. There should be no other folders in there at this stage other than content, ux, license with a data.zip file
Within license folder you will need all the appropriate licenses for your files/maps/area etc
Within content folder you will need all the appropriate map files etc - but I'm assuming you already must know that
This will 100% work. Just follow it as in this post and it will work.

i do not have sdcard! only internal memory! i think that is the problem. And sorry but i cannot find password for archive of post 7

it worked! thank you! it was a misunderstanding: i used file explorer or windows 8, and couldn't see any sd root. Once i used the ES file explorer, followed the instructions again, and worked! But traffic says no subscripsion-expired, even if i put files in icense folder
