    @osiris4isis

You are absolutely right I understand it now and I was right about providers and here are the screenshots to prove that. Now we solved a little mystery why Austria worked even when I removed FSP and histspeed folder because there is a third hsp provider.

We have HERE, NAVTEQ and UNITED NAVIGATION

Now we understand why Austria continued working.
Just to have to check where those other HSP files reside. I will come back with update.

The only test we have to do to see if error persist is:

    - Are they incompatible, they cannot work together thus error occurs?
    - Avic is incompatible with some thus error occurs.
    - Maybe some licensing problem, thus error occurs.

    If i remember correctly,

Originally Hsp files were created by Navteq and FSP by TeleAtlas (or TOMTOM), they were one of the same thing.

When they were first released you could only use HSP with Navteq maps and FSP with TeleAtlas maps.

There was a time when FSP data was considered superior to the HSP data but i think it veries from country to country, much like maps.

Things have moved on alot since then, so i'm not sure how it all plays out now.

It seems so, and how do you utilize it? How do you use Historical Traffic, in what way? Do you manually create way points to avoid red sections or navigation does it for you?

Simply is HPS used by navigation while calculating route or it sits there just as an info for us, so we can plan our route accordingly?

From your screenshots of Content Details, FSP is "Smart Route Profile" while HSP is "Smart Route Data". Both are from Navteq/HERE. .fsp resides under map/ while .hsp under histspeed/
Do this test, note a route without using .fsp nor .hsp, then compare route with .hsp only, then compare route with .fsp only.

It should do it all automatically,

I seem to remember on long trips it would periodically recalculate my route when its data suggested roads that would have been congested an hour or two ago are now free flowing enough to use. But only if it is of benefit and / or reduce the overall time of the journey.

I think it constantly monitors the time of day and the data it has for that time period.

I guess one way to check this would be to set a long route passing through a number of cities, put it by a window for a gps fix and leave it for a few hours to see if the route changes over time.

Will update you guys after I finish testing.

This is how I am going to test thx to @osiris4isis

Long distance route through some traffic congested area
    With HSP only
    With FSP only
    Without both
    Different time 08:00 - 15:00 - 00:00

It will take some time to test time so I will let as soon as as finish it.

firs - Map Apperance - top option - Viewpoint - this is zoom ( look 2 screen)
    sec. - option's zoom
thr. - set Enable user setting's "on" - option's - tilt the map
These possibilities are even better than Primo 2.4 - you can set the slope of the map from the menu!

    Hi wojpen

Have tried a couple of new apk's and clean folder installs and still do not have the ability to zoom into the road.
Used original ux folder, tried skins but still only have distant view's and unable to zoom closer to the road

This picture shows how close to the road I would like to get my view

Any other idea's as to how this can be achieved.

    thanks

Hallo. Just to give you a second option.

Put these lines in your sys.txt.
    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
Disable user settings at map appearance.
Choose close view at view point.

Hope this helps and is close enough to your wish. You can also play with numbers at various camera settings for even better results.

Hi everyone, i have a Asus padfone infinity, I installed the Pongo skin, and this version seems to mess with my Bluetooth, it interrupts phone calls?

Tried Wojpens solution from tips & tricks but still the same.
It doesn't give me any guidance sound at Bluetooth, but that's no problem for me, the problem is the interfierence with the phone calls.

Anyone have a solution or should ik better change to another version ?
