I tried a couple of data.zip, with one IGO crashes, the other gives speed in miles, though speed shows on screen correctly.

I modified it to correct the issues I was having as described in post #15.
It is the ''óriginal" with only 2 files changed in media libs/voice guidance/engine_1_0 and ../_1_1. The rest remains untouched.
To announce distance to speedcam (working TTS and appropriate speedcam UX files and TTS voice file), add this to sys.txt:
