It won't work over the blue. Maybe if Alain can make the background white.

I prefer it as is.

I tried also some other variations. Alain's original compass (blue with white letters) is the best.

Copy the svg to the_skin_by_pongo.zip\ui_nextgen\res\the_color\nodpi\

Some small changes.
Also I increased the highway icon to make fonts there larger too.
Moved the compass on portrait mode back where it was.

I increased the size of the off-road compass and now letters are much more readable.

Replace the the_skin_by_pongo.zip file.

Larger fonts on On/Off button. Replace file a_on_off_button.zip
