Hi, I wanted to ask about a problem. I have a Chinese device in my car, and the Luna app works fine, but every time I restart the device, the Luna app doesn't update the time or date. I have to restart it, and then it works correctly. Am I missing a command in the system?

Counter-question:
Why Luna (Israel) in particular, which is actually for Mazda cars? Instead, a good and popular option, because it works flawlessly on almost all devices, is iGO_Pal v.9.18.27.719974 with the Pongo skin.
Hi Rondoan, well, the TTS voices on iGO PAL don't work well, that's why I don't use it. Luna works very well on my Chinese phone. Do you have your iGO PAL?
TTS not working well on PAL?? You should blame yourself, not the software

@rondoan is using good German language/voice files and adequate engine. Knows how to configure software. All material is from this Forum

Hi guys,
I made a test of the latest [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] file posted on Dec 29th, and when I add it in Luna 9.35.2.153810 with Pongo skin Nov 26th. 2024, the vehicule speed is no more displayed. I have only a small rectangle with no value inside.
Then, I download the [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] to test several speedcam_mod_eur+_3df versions : the result is bad for version 4 & 5 too.
The vehicule speed is displayed with version 3 and older (2 & initial).
Did you have the same issue ?
The main point is that you need to replace the file, not add it. Remove speedcam_mod_vb_def.zip from the UX folder. Why did you choose the 2024 skin instead of the latest release? What speedcam.txt database did you use? Additionally, why do you need the EUR+ encoding instead of the VB encoding?
Additionally, you will need to add the alerts' translations to the "Lang-Voice" dictionary.
PS
Updated all versions of speedcam_mod_eur Mod AF for the Pongo Luna skin 32-64 bit
Hi Andrey,
Yes, speedcam_mod_vb_def.zip was removed from the \ux folder.
I'm using this 26.11.2024 version because it's the latest version you published on the first page of this topic discussion, and in your post in last [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...].
Sorry : this forum is very active, and I'm a little bit lost into all iGo Nextgen versions (Luna, Luna32, Luna64...). I found this [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] is an other discussion : I this skin version compatible with my 2019 Luna version ?
The speedcam.txt database is the french version available on lufop.net.
I'm using EUR+ encoding because it was my standard version on Primo, and the speedcam icons of this EUR+ version are corresponding to the french money machines on the road.
The issue is just only on the display of the current car speed. Alarms, detection, warnings, sounds, speech messages are working.
Working : excepted for average speedcams (named "section radar" in FR). It's a classical issue on all Nextgen iGO versions and all skins I tried. The section_start is correctly detected, but the section_end is never detected. I remember that on Primo, Seb & Dream Team made a lot of efforts to solve this issue. This was working perfectly on the latest Dream Team skins. As I know, this is because start and end are the same radar type, and the app is thinking that the end_radar is the beginning of a new section.
About voice and lang : I made the adaptations and add the translations. This is working.
And thanks for your support.
Yes, the designations have changed a little, Luna now has 2 versions, for 32 bit and 64 bit, these are two different topics.

The lufop, SCDB, and POIbase data collection databases contain data on where the average speed section ends. Section_end isn't designated by a specific type or a 5 km/h speed. This is why you can't distinguish between section_start and section_end. Skins have nothing to do with this, especially since this issue was resolved in 2019; you need to use updated skins.

Thanks Andrey,
Yes, lot of informations are missing in the Lufop database, like the speed limit for "construction site" radar. In the database, they have speed=0, then the map road speed is used, but as this road section is in construction, the speed is reduced, and the warning is wrong ! I mentioned it in their discussion forum, but they don't want to add this very important information.
If I remember right, Dream Team solved the section issue in the skin around 2013 just by checking, if the "in_section" is already active. If the section is already active when a section speedcam is detected, then, it's the section end.
And then another issue appeared when the section speedcam are on both side of the road, but not at the same position exactly (it's the case in the printscreen below). In that case, the positions are very narrow, and it's not possible that it's the begin and end of the same section. So, the skin was calculating the distance between the previous position and the current position, and if it's closer, the speedcam is rejected.
It's sure : if the section start and end on both side of road are far away together (ie one is ending 1km before the start of the other side), the detection is completly out. But I never encountered the case in FR. To be honnest, this speedcam type is no more deployed by the governement and will be removed soon, because they don't win enough money with it !!
Ok, go back to my speed display issue : I installed the latest 30.09.2025 Pongo Skin with speedcam_mod_eur+_3dfv12, and I have exactly the same issue (preloads was deleted).
I made some print-screen :
