    Does this "fix" the driveralert issue?

    I like to test different skins but Pongo's skin has a BIG issue with "driveralerts". They are placed in the upper right corner where highway/motorways road signs are displayed. If for example I have a known "lane merge" coming up, it is never announced for the reason *I think* it is "canceled" because TWO different map objects can't occupy the SAME space. Because of this, I never could understand why driveralerts was not moved to a "open" space on the map in this situation.

    If someone knows how to reach Pongo I wish they would pass this issue on.

    Hi,

    I am using the latest Basarsoft version on my Samsung S4 mini( resolution 540*960). I am trying to use pongo, but I meet two problems:

    1) I don`t understand a part of the installation instructions, namely:
    "- activate you need additional plug-ins by removing three dashes at the end of the file ( --- ). "I don`t see in Internal Storage or any of the lower folders files with three dashes at the end of the file (name?).

    2) Starting iGO I get an error message: "User interface [540*960] is not supported or compatible skin can not be found."

    The way I installed, the new ux folder only contains: basarsoft_gm8_nextgen.zip.

    Did I do something wrong?

    Harry

    Solved with the help of Quartzo

    @HARRY01

    1. If you look into the ux folder, you find there some zip file with 3 dashes and if you need that file for iGO remove dashes.

    2. For eliminate that error you must have in sys.txt:
    [rawdisplay]
    screen_xy="auto"

    and if don't work try with:

    [rawdisplay]
    dpi=240

    So, I had a chance to test the new skin and I found a couple of items I can't seem to correct. looking at the image...

    Spoiler: IMG

    [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    1.) I can't get rid of the map provider "logo"... even though I have it "turned off" in settings.

    2.) I can't get rid of all the "stoplights" on EVERY corner..... You used to be able to fix this with the ux--> "width_Road_x1.5.zip.... but even that's not working.

    On the PLUS side... the "driveralert" issue seems to be fixed!

    Edit: Spoke to soon. Even though the position of the "driveralert" has been moved, the problem STILL exists whereas the alert pops up when there is ONLY the "street name" at the top, otherwise, if "road signs"(such as over highways/motorways) are at the top, the alert fails to pop up...just hear the ding.

    Every time when I make a change to the dictionary.voice, many of the TTS functions disabled and cannot be enabled unless the original voice.zip file is restored!!
    How to modify the dictionary.voice successfully? I appreciate your kind help.

    Thank you
