I have problem about tts is not working with radio app.
Kikiupload but do you have my same car radio (navifly / makede)? apparently we have the same problem ', but only with tts. However, I tried in android settings to remove the radio app setting as predominant on the other apps but I did not have the desired result.
Mentioned many times:
nameless devices (Chinese clones) - there are a zillion of them.
Very often a crippled android is inserted into them or simply with unsupported all functions.
Also with customized launchers, but very often poorly implemented.
You can't expect the solutions to be similar, let alone the same.
That's why Forums serve - READ. Learn something, and then apply that knowledge to your specific problem.
It's Mekede unit. But I had a few this Chinese headunits, and offten that radio app is not compatiable with TTS engine, and I tried a couple engines, always the same story. So this is not a problem with tts language pack or iGo, its that radio app, android system and tts.Quote:

Because when you turn off radio app, and go to android settings - TTS, and test it, it's working. But when you bring radio in background tts is not working.
There was guy on xda forum had problem with sound. He found this solution:
Quote:
They suggested that I switch back to using the built in Google-TTS engine and the correct language in the android settings of the head unit. Then go into the head units GPS settings and assign the Google-TTS engine as the default GSP application. Doing this will mean that the hard GSP button on the head unit will no longer launch iGO Primo. But that is ok because I can launch it through the iGO icon/shortcut on the screen. Then make sure to go into the iGO Primo sound/volume settings and select the correct TTS voice, with the correct language that matches the language on the Google-TTS engine setting. Then properly exit from the iGO Primo app and reboot the head unit. That's it.
And that has already been mentioned. Several time in different (dedicated) topics.

I agree this issue is not for this thread, but I do not see nothing wrong trying to help and share experience about similar issue.
When you are familiar with what has been mentioned, is there solution why just radio app of head unit is blocking TTS engine?
Usually what I found is sound of navigation is too low, or doesn't work at all. But I didn't see someone mentioned where only radio app have problem with TTS engine.
So, if you know anything about that, I would really like to know how to fix this.
The question is whether the creators even know? We can know even less. There is a conflict at the system level, without direct access cannot know.
Aside from the fact that, as already mentioned, there are many devices, and the solution can easily be different for each of them.
Right Boki if you know you can also say it otherwise it's right to tell our experiences and make them available to everyone.
However, I solved another problem always linked to tts, I had noticed that the percentage of the volume of the voice in Igo even if I put it at 100% always returned to 28 and I solved it by changing the file setting in the SAVE / PROFILE / 00 folder and I put 255 (it was 71) and now it seems to stay at 100%, maybe this was the problem, I'll check it out.
I change the file system to 255 but then by itself it returns to 71 and yet the file makes it save, how do I do it?

@Tomasfx
.. two options, convert dpi to sys.txt or in sky.zip plug to change bmp size to larger, but first you have to do it to png then enlarge and back to bmp and this way you get correct image.
