I just notice, with newest skin, if I delete some speedcam on the map and restart igo, speedcam is back on map. If I remember correctly it shouldn't work like that. Also speedcamupdates.spud is not created. Israel with pongo skin.

Hi! For New Pongo Skin (Update 21.03.2019). Impossible to disabled off the voice warning for the high speed. Where can I turn off? Big thanks!

There are two settings: At the top- (Warn when Speeding) and something below (Speed Warning Settings )
it can't be turned off in the settings. It's still reporting.Quote:

You have to replace the old UX: The_skin_by_Pongo.zip with the new one you downloaded beforehand. located in iGO XXX \ ux
To do things right:
Clear Save Folder (do not forget to save Favorites ...) or rename Oldsave
Erase data
Restart

To be more precise, The_skin_by_Pongo.zip is the "heart" and the main part of the Skin, but if you only replace this file you may have problems using it with the "old" zip files.
When a bug is fixed, the changes are also made in the corresponding zip file and not just in The_skin_by_Pongo.zip file, so if "old" zip files are used, certain enhancements may have no effect.
So, the Skin is not just that file but the whole "ux" folder.

Maybe you are using the latest file The_skin_by_Pongo.zip with other zip a year ago?
I don't use this Skin, lately I'm just doing tests, but I just tell you that the speedcam.zip file in the last 3 updates they are each different from the other, and not just because the icons and categories have changed, and the next one will still be different.
Don't do so much the "know-it-all", on the forum there are not only "experts", indeed many users know little iGO so your answers must be clear and complete, if they had been that way I would not have intervened.

Dear Colleagues - to end this discussion - I suggest you get acquainted with what the skin author (Pongo) - said about the installation rules:
Installing the skin:
- iGO_Israel is the folder of the Nextgen version (iGO_Avic, iGO_Basar, iGO_Israel ...);
- remember to delete (or rename) your old ux folder with sdcard / iGO_Israel / ux;
- write a new ux folder from the archive;
- if there is a need to have even more additional functions, activate, only you need inactive plugins, removing three dashes at the end .... zip (---), I do not advise to activate everything, most of them you just do not need;
- who uses "Avicsync", "Pioneer", it is necessary to remove the user_profiles.zip plugin, otherwise you will not be able to change the cursor;
- be careful, plugs from previous versions of the skin and any foreign plugs may interfere with the current version of the skin and significantly impair navigation.
- for the speech synthesizer to work in the Voices Voice_TTS _........_ lua.zip in the dictionary.voice file there should be entries:

In recent versions of this skin, there have been changes and additions in the speddcam's category - so using old plugin's is pointless and causes errors!
