It is not up to maps or apk. It's the problem of the language he uses.
One of the users already had an identical problem in a completely different situation/setup. Unfortunately, I can not find that discussion on the forum, I have been trying for some time.
Maybe somebody else will remember where it was mentioned.

i believe boki_srb is right, that does sound like a possible problem.. despite all i tried, various apks and maps those fonts remained scrambled..

thanks kajoe for trying that simulation out and confirming me the problem is on my side..

hi kajoe, this is all what i changed to german:
phone language
phone keyboard language
igo language (thanks for the language .zip)
igo keyboard

no success.. i'm really out of ideas now
