nextgen How to hide the android status-bar ?

    Hi !

I have long been involved in GPS devices, especially iGO software in PDAs, GPS devices, smartphones, and so on. Unfortunately, I forgot a lot of things and I can not give advice . I searched on Google and also in this discussion forum, but I can't find the answer.

The button bar from Android is always visible and obstructs my screen. Please, how to hide the Android button bar (I mean the bar with the three basic Android control buttons) ?

    iGO: Nextgen - AVICSYNC 9.18.28.696728 - 10.4.2017
SKIN: Skin by pongo / 2016-07-04
    display mode: only landscape
    Android: 6.0 (EMUI 4.0.3)
    device: Huawei P8 Lite
    Screen Resolution app (info): xhdpi / 320dpi / 720x1196 px (720x1280)
    configuration file:
    Spoiler: sys.txt
    Code:

It is possible that it is not possible Depends on the system UI.
On the other hand, it may be enough just to replace skin with a newer edition.
Or to use some of the 3rd party apps. They have problems with new androids (8/9/10) but they do well with the older ones.
Before asking a question, know it's already discussed here and at 99.9% is not unique. Use search.

Hi there. Thx for your reply.

It's not that simple - replace SKIN Pongo with a newer version.

I made my own translation into SK language (due to inappropriate terms in the original translation for Skin Pongo) to Skin_by_Pongo + also translation to iGO Nextgen, because there was no complete SK translation, but there was only a translation from older versions of iGO Primo.

I also remember that I tried the older Skin_by_Pongo newer version but it behaved very slowly. Many features have been added that are bothersome. I would have to figure out what they are and shut down these SKIN modules.

In other words ... it is the work for the next few days to translate into SK language + tweak Skin_by_pongo in iGO Nextgen AVICSYNC (which is probably the fastest edition of iGO Nextgen).

    I don't want to ... I'm lazy.

I just want to hide the button bar . Rather, I also want to use this part of the display for the navigation software, because it's a shame of so little space on the display. I want to use this desktop for the navigation and not for the Android system (= button bar).

    Hello,

Maybe in your " Android " device, there is an option to choose the applications to use in " full screen " !
    Must search .............

That option was not available in Android 6
Also, EMUI in general is not so rich with opportunities

    @lameriq
then, it is easiest to try something [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], or [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    Thanks guys.

I'll try these apps, but I don't want to edit system settings again through the Adb console. I think I have some USB boot drivers for my phone and also Adb console, but I don't want to do it. I am lazy. I'll leave it as it is.

It seems to me that in old Android 4.4, old iGO Primo also worked on fullscreen, without a button bar. Oh ... the newer the worse.

    Thanks again.
