    nextgen dual band gps

    Hello guys,

    I have the following question.
I own an Xiaomi Mi 8 with dual band gps receiver.
Does nextgen use both L1+L5 band to calculate the position or only L1?
    Does anyone have any information?

    Thank you,

This has nothing to do with Next Gen or any other Navigation program...
Every navigation programm needs NMEA files for the position..
NMEA files, is the last part from GPS receiver..which
    Gives results for the position.

L1 AND L2 bands are signal channels for the gps receiver in our hardware receivers.
Our receiver gives the final result in NMEA files.

    As you understand, Navigation program
Has nothing to do with this....
Simply we have more accurate position!

So NMEA is the communication between machine
    And programm...
    This is the point
We don't care, what exist... before it!!
