Thread: RLE Bitmap For Wince 6.0

you are ready... these are the steps you can follow:

1.open your image and convert from *.jpg to *.bmp
2.correct the image for any defects... (like the letters in down left corner)
3.resize your image from [800x600] to [800x480] but... (keep the aspect ratio)
then select from photoshop "indexed color" for your image (img1)... and save as *.BMP, *.RLE... (img2)
4.after that, use iPAQ 31x Image Explorer to compress your image...

Ειλικρινα δεν ξερω πως να σε ευχαριστησω. Δοκιμασα σε Windows 10 και windows 7 αλλα το προγαμμα iPAQ 31x Image Explore κρασαρει δυστυχως. Εσυ πως τα καταφερες ?

Thank you very much modemakias for your help. I have try this in windows 10 and in windows 7 but the programm iPAQ 31x Image Explore keep crashing. How did you manage?

Actually, I told you to ignore the RLE part*. RLE is NOT a requirement. I think your problem is not replacing the bitmaps correctly in the .zip file. No need to open new thread for same problem.

* And yes, iPAQ 31x crap out on large complex image not whether you're using 32 or 64 OS. That is why I told you not to bother with it.
