Look in the code of the "skin". Phrases are written slightly* differently and if you want to change TTS, you must match that phrase exactly. People are copying anything into voice *.zip file (or sys.txt) without knowing what is needed.Quote:

* Changes of iGO to Primo to NextGen by various developers
I asked it because I have too many warnings of speedcams, in case those symbols made the warnings to be repeated at the beginning, in the middle and at the end and if so, I eliminate some of them.
Thanks for your tips
That's for using other files and in other forums
Unless you're using multiple* UX's that provide similar functionality, each entry should not cause multiple announcements. It's another capability** that does it. I think you should start out with "clean" install without using any additional skin and see if multiple announcements occurred. If you don't get any announcement then start using a UX that provides it.
* Not a good idea and will cause unwanted issues
** Repeated announcements are provided when certain configuration is done in sys.txt
In the sys I do not have any settings for speedcams.
It´s in the voice file where the warnings are repeated.
Wrong, it's in the voice file that what gets announced. The sys.txt tell when it's announced.
If there are no guidelines for speedcam in the sys, you definitely have it in the data.zip, in project_config/igo_nextgen.ini.Quote:

In the voice file there is written what the TTS must read and say.....
Those directives are also reported in the sys because the sys prevails on the data, and it is easier to make changes to the sys that make them on the data..... .....
I really appreciate all the explanations but does not anyone know what the symbols (.) and (,) mean?
They are period and comma. They have nothing to do with your multiple announcement (unless you have multiple UX's that uses it, as I already said) Your problem is configuration of sys related data which can be in sys.txt per [Only registered and activated users can see links.
