1. No, they are not. iGO (TT actually), still have the best routing algorithm.
2. No (regarding your next question).
3. No.
Hello,
1. I have found that google maps routes are much better than iGo & sygic route planing.
2. Is ther any way to import google maps routes to iGo (also to sygic, here)?
3. using android phone only - without PC conversion softwre?
thank you.

Hi,
1. I have tested iGo routes in many places and roads that I know very well.
2. I compared: iGo, sygic, here, google maps.
3. Google maps has the best route planing.
4. iGo NEVER show me the best way to go. Google map does it.
5. iGo algorithm insist to take you the short way to the nearest highway, BUT it is always not the best & efficient way to go.
you can meet the highway driving other way which is better - wider road, less trafic, ...
6. Goole maps show me this best way. Here is also good.
7. I manipulate iGo by adding a passing point. and forcing iGo to go my way.
That is your, obviously very beginner's observation point.
What is the best? What is the best choice for someone? How can you know what is best for me? How google can know what's best for you?
You are setting the choice of trajectory in iGO by yourself. Shortest/Quickest/Easiest/Fastest/Green....for every of them there is basic choice of tree trajectories. And during driving, when you include problems on the road, with or without tmc/online data, rerouting is far better. Google have a lot of to learn. I admit they had made a lot of progress. But.
But if you find that Google offers you the best, use it and leave this section Nobody's forcing you.

1. I use iGo for navigating. but I check the igo offered route with google maps before driving.
2. I am not a beginner. My test included all iGo options of: Shortest/Quickest/Easiest/Fastest/Green.
3. none of them is the best way to go.
4. rerouting is different issue during driving.
Hello all,
1. First, I really appreciate Boki_Srb, and his answer to my question.
2. Please remember my question, import google maps route to iGo, that's all.
3. I personally use iGo, very good software, but not perfect.
4. Also, you can do this route comparison by yourself, and see my point. if you want to. I share here my experience.
5. so, why aren't you address the Point, Not the Person?.
Thanks.
