@ Osiris4isis
I deleted my truck ux and put Truck(world)zip in place, started the program, calculated the same route, but no changes, works the same as before.
When i think about it, i never had any of the signs seen on screen yet, i do have driver alerts and they work, but that's something else.
I can see DA signs when i'm in the menu and test TTS function, but i don't see Truck Restriction Signs in this menu.
Is this correct ? Is there a menu where i can see the warning signs ?
Under the info menu licenses and truck info and others, everything is in white and should be active.

That is what I'm saying. For those who keep saying that it works, it might not work "fully." Having ability to set extended settings, doesn't mean it's working. Driver alert (DA) is not same as truck alerts. There is no TTS test for truck alert. I have posted the truck alert icon images for those who might seen it working (but I doubt it). When I test truck.zip (World) on Gift, I don't see any truck alert icons. I don't see any routing changes due to truck restriction. But I did remember seeing notification warnings for truck restriction.
It's ironic that truck.zip for World doesn't work for World!
It looks to me, that you are right, i'm gonna test a route i drove last friday and set my height at different height and see if he calculates another shorter route.
I always thought i had a full working truck profile, but now i'm not so sure anymore.
Post my results here in a few minutes
Thx for helping
Set my route from last friday, to 3 different heights, and i have 3 different routes, so i Do think truck profiles really working, only doesn't give notices.
Maybe only when you're driving without a route, because when you have a planned route, the program had you take a route where he doesn't need to warn you anymore.
There is a warning of truck profile in the menu given when you look at the route overview, and i had thise on screen before, so again i think truck profile is working.
Spoiler: Truck Profile Warning ?
With the height at 3,5m you drive under de black/yellow railroad bridge (3,8m), with the height at 3,99m like i always have it, you take the route as shown.
The warning in the pic, (is the 4th sign on you're truck ux picture) says : Forbidden For Trucks ( Except Delivery )
According to the change listed for NextGen9.18.27.693527-World(14Mar2017), it was to add Truck restriction. But you couldn't even access extended settings (I spent a lot of time debugging and there are flags that should be true but aren't.) NextGen9.18.27.687519-Gift(26Jan2017) on the other hand, allow extended settings but I suspect it doesn't do anything since you really need code to do something with those settings, I took truck.zip from World and I get notification when I drive on restricted street. I don't get any alert icons (which probably due to coding incompatibility in .css). And routing doesn't show anything different (probably routing engine doesn't have code to do truck restriction)
Anyway, take it with a grain of salt and don't assume it will worked as in iGO/Primo.
I do agree, i am not 100% convinced it works, but however it does give me other route calculations on one route, but another route it doesn't seems to be right.
Other hand , I am very pleased with this NextGen Gift version and I never got in trouble before.
Just keep in mind that's its just an assistance and you should always use you're common sense.
Save journeys for everyone, and if I can help test or something just let me know.
When I discover something truck related i will post it here.
Right now I'm driving without a route and go play with different heights.

Yes it's just navigation assistance, but if you're a truck driver (or any vehicles too large for normal road), you do not want to get stuck at underpass or tunnel or turn on roads too small and damaged it. I can't really "fully" test truck related restrictions in my area because there are no tunnels, no "small" roads and no time. You got truck restriction working in other proggy such as World and Basarsoft? I'm sure professional truck drivers use other reliable "truck navigation" product. You tried Sygic Truck yet?
I can confirm that truck restrictions do work.
He calculates other routes to avoid tunnels, and when you don't take the exit, the program shows a warning.
I did the test yesterday at the same route and with a route planned you are guided to another road around the tunnel.
But if you don't have a route planned, you do not get any warnings at all.
I will post screenshots later, as I'm not home right now.
Never had tried World or Basar or Sygic.
I'm no expert....in installing, have to read a lott to get it working...
Never looked at Sygic ? Do you think this is better for Truck ?
If so, I'm gonna try, cause that's the only thing I need.
Grtz. Ludo.
Hello,
iGO Gift and World - gave the results mentioned above.
I checked - what was pointed out by Mate Ludo - on my version of iGO Basarsoft (version 2016, skin Pongo + my (small) modification.
For testing, I used maps and other Q1 / 2017 files.
To eliminate errors within a country - I have established the following route:
Berlin (D) - Hoogerheide (NL) - Rotterdam (NL) - Wroclaw (PL).
TIR parameters - according to @Ludo
1 Truck setting's
2 Route setting's
Spoiler: screen's
3 Identified on a fixed route - restrictions
****a. letter restriction's
****b. order of restrictions on the route
****c. indication of restrictions on the map
Spoiler: screen's
@Ludo - if you look at screen's - you'll see yourself that a height limit of more than 4 m is also identified.
I do not know how in NL it is in real-mode but in PL and D - it works fine.
regards wojpen
Note that "Max Height" alert under TTS Pro test is NOT truck restriction. It's just normal alert provided by data under speedcam directory such as *.txt and *.spc
Also, all versions I'm testing should be "fully cracked" (without use of any licenses), but I get the impression World and Basarsoft are not fully cracked.
@Ludo, I haven't used Sygic Trunk in a long time, so I don't know if it's better. You might want to read posts in Sygic group.
