Novice questions about NG & truck settings & "TMC"
Why cant I set parameters for my bus/coach? I have the truck.zip in UX.
Do you need to enter some words into sys?
And if somebody knows wich version does life traffic realy good. I had one igo nextgen in wich the old traffic info was still on the map...so the reability was not good.

I can find instructions, on tms(eddit:i meant tmc), on this forum?
I was asking myself. Were does igo get info for trafic. If it can recive info from another source?

It is TMC, not TMS

I'm new here too, but I try to find answer before asking it (again), as I did find many without even asking.

U gave me links to get tmc working.
I said myne is working, but it is incosistant...as I see I am not the olny one noticing this..

For best results,if you use ng with original skin,use only sys from original apk posted here. If you add more staf-lines in sys,Igo will not work as well. More lines will make Igo slower with more chance to crash

I agree with Jancko.
I have igo Nextgen 9.18.27.719974 installed on my TomTom 8375 which is a android device with TomTom truck installed on it.
The traffic info i get from TomTom is much more up to date then the traffic info i get when i use Igo on this device.
Both Igo and TomTom use a server to get traffic info from i asume?
But now i undertand that in fact that the info which is given by Igo comes from a server that made the TMC info digital to use with a mobile connection.
That explains why the info TomTom shows me is much up to date.
Igo mostly shows shows old delays which are not there anymore.
Because of that it calculates different routes if the delay is longer than 10 min ( this time i set in the igo settings )

Tom Tom have their own servers. And you payed for their service.
They forward TMC information to iGO and others (Sygic...), it is "normal" that their data is not as up-to-date TT (time delay, amount of money...
).
