Not quite. I think the answer is only MONEY.
Becker, Pioneer, ...etc, other great names pays to NNG a lot. Strange for iOS, because since 2015 they had regular updates, sometimes even before others.
I think that the main culprit is google, but, we'll see.
The app is updated... Maps are still old (2015 Q3)
Spoiler: screenshot
And that's one reason why most of us are using cracked proggy and pirating maps. Sad, but true.Quote:

There is. one very interesting observation I. made today.
In. my city I. am. currently living in (do not want to name it. obviously)... there is. a. some kind od. festival and. central part od. the city is. closed so with tmc info you should be able to avoid it.
Here. is the thing...
Both Sygic Car. and. Sygic GPS. receive up. to. date tmc. info and create routes according to it. That means both show this part of. the city as CLOSED!!!
But iGO nope. Original (licensed) iGO. World shows nothing (have tmc licence. for 1 year).
Crk. Israel NG, Primo,. Gift none. shows this TMC. event and all. create route through this part of the city.
My. Point is. that I. was very disappointed with iGO. and. pleasantly surprised by SYGIC
Do. you guys know who supplies TMC data to. Syguc (TomTom??) and. is. it. possible. to have it in. iGO. To. me. it just seems more up to date.
So. far. TMC
iGO - SYGIC = 0:1

Online traffic can be configured* to different servers** and depending on the region, one might be better than another. Proggy with user's contributed TMC data is usually more accurate (e.g. Waze) I hope someday NNG implement user's contributed TMC.
* Done via sys.txt
** Look for the thread that people posts about which servers is best for which country
Nng now the only thing who cares is to shell nextgen on many cars companies nothing else.Igo its finish with primo, nextgen its a big full of sh..t against primo and igo8.The golden days of gps is finish with stupit google maps ,android phones, tablets and ios.No more art gps, only gps
I. tried many servers @Osiris4isis but no result.. Location is Germany.
Here is my Tmc sys

Texas igo has many tmc signals but it is not the right time. The best tmc is in route66,tomtom and then Sygic.I test this many times driving bus in many countries in Europe
Tex, are TMC you are getting from Here or TT licensed?
I tested in Athens, for example (and most of Greece), TT tmc signal is active, all OK realtime.
