    Default Working TMC / sys.txt

    I live in UK and tried various different TMC settings in sys.txt and have latest collection of licences from 13/3/2016

    Can't get this to work and wondered if any in UK has TMC working in UK with Nextgen on Android

    Using version iGO Avicsync*9.18.28.624772(Jan 14 2016)

    My TMC licence files have three of the four ok with one in red not sure if my TMC licences are good or if the sys.txt is wrong.

    Any ideas please.

    Hi again, I've been using various sys.txt settings for live traffic and nothing will get it working.

    I tried iGO primo 2.4 and was able to get live traffic working with that, so it does work so can only assume it has either something to do with sys.txt or the missing tmc licence that is red in my 1st post.

    Just hoping someone in UK can confirm they have live traffic working in UK with Nextgen software.

    Thanks

    Lee

    Sorry to be a pain. Still struggling with this.

    Can anyone confirm:-

    Do I need all four TMC files?
    If not will just one work?
    Obviously it will need a licence - licence for me are ok apart from Navteq Traffic

    Has anyone any ideas for me?

    Thank you kindly

    Lee

    Question

    Don't know if this can help, but try replacing these lines (back up original settings). This works for me on android. I have needed to reenter the initial set up after these changes, but have worked afterwards. Good luck.

    Thanks for your input.

    Can I ask how many TMC files you have in your TMC folder and are they all licenced ( showing black - none red )

    Hi athlonoc, don't know if i can help, i live in the Netherlands and got TMC messages overhere, Belgium, France and Germany.
    I've got all licenses and believe it or not, Netherlands, Belgium and UK are red, but like i said i do have TMC working in these countrys. ( Except UK never bin there ).

    So here my sys.txt. maybe it works, but beware TMC needs sometimes a couple of minutes before it begins to show messages ( at least in my case ).

    Default SOLVED - TMC UK - Nextgen

    Hey - Hoogerheide

    Amazing that did the trick.
    Can't believe I tried so many variants of the tmc setting in sys.txt but that worked within 10 seconds of nextgen running.

    For the record the part of the sys.txt that needs to be put into igo primo nextgen for tmc to work in Uk is as follows:-

    [tmc-http]
    enabled=1
    start=1
    servers.size=1
    servers[0].url="http://zippy.naviextras.com/services/tmclite/data/nng-igo-tmc-iphone/0/"
    dt_dl_0=300.0
    ;refresh in sec
    dl_dist_0_km=100.0
    ;radius in km
    profile_name="nng-igo-tmc-iphone"
    ;profile_name="nng-igo-tmc-jci"
    ;profile_name="nng-igo-tmc"
    profile_version=2
    udp.enabled=1

    [tmc.src.http]
    enabled=1

    There was threed before by Miksontije about live traffic here. For Tmc you need tmc reciver in your navigation,pna... Here we talk abut live traffic function. It is not acurate 100%, bcouse they dont update it often.
    also 2 different profiles give you different results in practice. So, try to turn on-off different profile and see wahat is best for your country.
