Yes, I saw this exact post as well. I was doing searches before asking my questions and saw the same post.
However, that topic you are referencing to is for a WinCE head units. I have a pure Android head unit. These pure android head units are very different, much more popular and powerful. Because they are pure android you can also root them and modify them very similar to their phone and tablet cousins. In fact, there is a very large community in the xda-forum dedicated to these units (from a developers perspective). That is why in my opinion there should be a sub-forum only for these android 2din head units (as well as for the lesser WinCE head units).
With that said, the instructions on that topic are for WinCE, not Android head unit. That is why I am specifically asking about the installation instructions for the android. If I change the installation steps in order to be in-line with the way android head units work, then will the "everything in threes is perfect" method work properly? I just want some kind of clarity, because I do not know what to expect as an outcome. Yes - I know.... you will say try it and experiment =)
Anyways - here is my original post about my TTS Pro issue with the head unit:

Apparently this was an issue that many people still have. I was working with the xda-forum community on this as well. Several senior members feel it is an issue with the iGO app. There is some disconnect between the android audio stream and gps audio stream (related to TTS) that is affecting the proper function. The regular voices work, but the TTS voices have several different issues. So, I am again trying to find a solution. If only I could find a senior iGO android person and work together with my senior xda person - I am sure we can finally come up with the solution.
