I don't know how you came to this conclusion?
If TMC works on Nextgen, why it can't work on Primo?
If it's "only" a server problem, you could use same server-url in Primo SYS. But that doesn't work either.
So my conclusion, it could have to do with the data.zip?

I've quiet a lot experience with Primo (both WinCE and Android), but I honestly never touched the Nextgen versions.
Maybe people who tried to find a solution could share their ideas here, so we better know what already have been done to get it working again.

I think I've tried out anything possible with Primo SYS and TMC licences, but without success.
So far I didn't looked into the Nextgen data.zip. Maybe someone else has done that?

The difference is in the program. Allegedly here is an attempt to modify the APK, But that has not been successful yet..

i don't know what is the point to post, when admins keep moving the posts to trash.

    But anyway, i have 405512 and my network usage statistics show;
    - connected services general 16 kbytes
    - local search 24 kbytes
    - online traffic service 698 kbytes

my local search works with the nokia config instead of google.
after local search for "food" statistics increase to 42 kbytes
as i write this, the online traffic service stats increased to 700 kbytes

so there is some kind of communication taking place. but obviously was some changes on the server side because my TMC was working from aug - oct 18, but suddenly stopped.
probably need network sniffer to see what is being exchanged, but suspect it is some kind of check on the card/device id.. maybe

**update** as i sit and watch the network usage statistics, both connected services general and online traffic service increase over time, so the unit certainly appears to be trying to connect

Trashed because you did not post any useful information. Local/online search has nothing with TMC.
Even when you think there is no traffic, devices exchange information, they are trying to communicate - and it's also traffic. But this traffic does not have any relevance to you as a user, nor does it bring you anything. These are communication protocols.
So that to further this topic be closed, will open in the event that it appears something really matters.

Before asking a question, know it's already discussed here and at 99.9% is not unique. Use search.

Many questions become very arduous, a lot of time chewed deja vu...Since we have lost all the year of work and effort, many people have no will to answer the same questions again. Me neither. Use a search, please.
